The Foreo Luna is another sonic cleansing brush meant to compete with Clarisonic and others like it. It features soft silicone bristles in a one-piece product so you do not replace the bristle head. This is also not necessary since you can very easily clean the bristles with your soap or an antibacterial product and it dries quickly. I do like this over the more traditional brushes from other products.

It has two settings - one for cleaning and one for a gentle massage which is meant to combat early signs of aging. It's fully waterproof and the charge lasts for a really long time. It also can stand on its own, so no special rack or holding device is necessary.

I have yet to try Clarisonic so I cannot say if this is better or worse, but I will say I have very much enjoyed using it and am seeing a difference in my skin. It is a little less expensive than the Clarisonic, and a really nice gift idea or special splurge opportunity.

I took a while before writing this review because I wanted to really experience the effects of the Luna mini before doing so. I should start by explaining why I'm so psyched about this little thing most than anything. About a year ago, and after a rosacea breakout, I purchased a sonic facial cleansing brush from a very well known brand because I was told it could help my condition. I considered it to be quite expensive, if you take into consideration that the brush heads needed to be replaced quite often. Turns out I had to return the thing because it really hurt my face! My rosacea exacerbated and it was not pretty. After that experience, I thought that I'd just stick to my usual cleanser and my hands. At first, I thought I'd give the LUNA Mini a try but I was very skeptical after my initial experience with sonic devices. Well, I have to say that this little thing has been a miracle for my face. Not only does it feel nice, soft and clean, but my rosacea has been under control the whole time I have been using it! I recommend it to anyone with very sensitive skin or rosacea. People keep telling me how much better the condition of my skin is! It really is amazing.
Also, I absolutely LOVE that it is rechargeable and completely waterproof! It holds charge for so long, it's ridiculous! :-)
It's also really cute and comes in many nice colors! Mine is turquoise!

I'm not sure why this product works but it does. My face feels clean and soft after each use. Because it is made of silicone, it is very easy to clean. It is rechargeable and the charge lasts a long time.

My friend asked me if I remember that after swimming our skin looks flawless. She said it's because all the dirt in the pores have been sucked out. She recommended that I try the Clarisonic Mia 2. However, when I went to the store, they didn't have the Mia 2 but had the Foreo Luna. The salesperson told me that the Foreo has won awards and does not need replacement brushes. I said sure and bought one to try.

I think any time you spend a longer time to clean your face (in this case 2 minutes) it is going to work better. So I did see an improvement in my skin texture and skin tone. Also, the good thing about the Foreo is that one charge lasts a long time. I charged it once and have used it for over a month and it is still going strong.

In addition, the colours are cute. I picked the purple one and it stands pretty on my bathroom counter.

However, at the back of my mind, I'm still wondering what the Mia 2 is like and whether it would do a better job of cleaning. I may have to try it out later.
