The John Frieda Visibly Deeper Colour Deepening Conditioner is a perfect addition to the John Frieda Visibly Deeper Colour Deepening Shampoo. I always use conditioner after my shower, otherwise my hair just feels rough. I prefer to use this conditioner with the matching shampoo to ensure I get the full effect if the shampoo. The two together give my hair a richer chocolaty look, removing the brassy effect of worn hair dye.

This deepening conditioner is pretty effective along with the 3 step Deepening Collection process!

A little bit more than a quarter sized glob is required to cover all of my hair nicely - and I leave it in for a few minutes to let it work its magic.

I am not sure about the science behind it that results in not covering highlights, but it works!

There is no real determinable scent, and definitely nothing like normal hair dye from the box (i.e. my eyes don't burn).

This is a great alternative to going to the hairdresser when my hair starts losing its lustre. Although not a replacement for hair colour, it enhanced my colour in amazing deep ways.

My only complaint is - my hair is fine and long, tangling easily. The first two times I used this conditioner, I piled my hair on top of my head (like normal), and my hair took 10 minutes to comb out WITH a high end detangler. It was painful and awful. Once I realized I needed to just let my hair stay straight and unpiled during the process, it no longer tangles, pending I don't use my towel too quickly and pat it dry vs a vigorous scrubbing.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the results!
