I am so glad I took a chance on buying this hair dryer!

My hair has never been softer since I started using Kadori. I took a chance buying one despite mixed reviews and am glad I did! It dries my hair in a fraction of the time the other dryers I used did and I now use a fraction of conditioner I needed prior because my hair stays soft and glossy. I do find the attachments aren't the easiest to apply but used a tip from a male reviewer who placed the attachment on a rug and pushed the head into it and voila! Easy peasy! I hope it lasts forever because I don't ever want to be without my hairs new best friend.

I have short naturally wavy-curly hair and this is the first time I've ever had a hair dryer come with a diffuser, so that was absolutely perfect for me and a lovely surprise. I can't really say anything bad about this hair dryer because, frankly, it did a great job for me.

It's lightweight, easy to use and I found it gave gorgeous curls with the diffuser head. It's also easy to detach and switch heads. It has all the settings you'll ever need, warm, cool and hot and adjustable speeds.

If I had to pick a negative it would be that the design of the little plastic circles on the handle of the dryer, just below the switches, looks confusingly like buttons and don't seem to add anything to the dryer.

My current salon-style hair dryer is pretty stellar – with 3 speeds and 3 heat settings. With 2 speeds and heat settings, but a portable use, I felt Kadori could be a good alternative.

The instructions are mainly warnings, but I was dismayed to find out there are two speeds, but no real way to change the heat setting. I assume to change the voltage from 110V to 220V is to use a flat headed screwdriver to move the centre groove to reflect the required voltage?

The dryer was semi quiet (compared to my hair flowing regular dryer), and took about 4 minutes to fully dry my fine thin long hair.

If the dryer gets too close to my head, it is REALLY hot, even with changing settings. So I just keep the dryer in pace with my ceramic roll style brush in order to prevent direct contact with my skin. After setting the dryer down, I could barely touch it, as it was REALLY hot. Again, I used this for a maximum of 5 minutes, so this should not be enough time to overheat a quality dryer!

Thankfully the cord was still cool to touch, so it’s just whatever plastic material the dryer is made of.

I have also compared it to my mainstream portable Conair dryer, which is heavier, but the settings are more tolerable for my skin, and dries in about the same amount of time with a higher speed option at less than half the cost.

It *is* very lightweight, very portable (easy to fold), dries my hair in a decent amount of time in the mornings, and my hair does look good and stays styled most of the day - so it has some positive attributes. I just feel let down that I was expecting more from this dryer.
