The hand cream itself is good quality. Whether it's worth the heavy price tag is a matter of personal opinion. I got hooked on this after receiving a free sample. I was desparate to revive my hands after the bad weather we had last winter so I splurged on this. The fragrance is non-offending, but definitely NOT safe for scent free environments. My co-worker can tell when I'm putting this handcream on everytime.
On a side note, what I'm bitter about is the fact that they try to sell you the "magic key" so that you don't waste the problem. The price for this said key is $10! Wow, what a gimmick. Wouldn't it be more worthwhile if they just design the package a little more so that the key isn't necessary?
Although the smell and effectiveness is good, but compared to its price. I won't buy the second time.
I have been blessed with naturally moist palms (gross, I know) but the back of my hands can be the exact opposite. Throughout the day, I wash my hands a lot and rarely apply lotion afterwards. If I do, it's always a small bottle of this exact L'Occitane cream, and I only put it on the back of my hands. It is extremely moisturizing and does not feel greasy. It works the best right after washing with warm water, since then it can actually lock in the hydration. This is a high quality product with good ingredients. Considering how little product it takes to sufficiently cover the hands, I definitely recommemd this hand cream. I also purchased the magic key, which allows you to roll up the metal tube as it is empties for optimal ease of squeeze. This cream can be found at some drugstores, department stores, Sephora and at L'Occitane stores.
This is effective hand cream!
I use hand sanitizers at work and this hand cream really helps to moisturize and sooth my hands.
It is a bit pricey but well worth it.
Such a great hand cream! Even when I was a little kid I would get such dry & cracked hands in the winter that I had to wear greasy lotion with gloves at night (though I stopped doing this several years ago). Since then I've tried dozens of different lotions for both hand & body through the years. I was so excited when I tried this one last winter that I raved about it to my mom & she was so happy that I finally found something that actually works for me! It certainly isn't cheap to buy, but it's so effective that you don't need to use much at all. Even in the winter, the small tube lasted me several months, & I found that I didn't need to re-apply it nearly as often as other lotions & hand creams.
Love this hand cream! It is a bit pricey but this works wonderful. I have bought a few of this for my mom and friends. Nice little tube to keep in the purse.
This cream is expensive, but works really well and lasts forever. Since I discovered it I have a few tubes around - my bedside table, my desk, my purse. I've hooked a few others on it too.
I only recommend the Shea Butter version (blue label) - I tried some scented ones and don't think they are nearly as effective.
I really like this product. Its expensive so its not something I use all the time but I do keep a tube in my purse and it leaves my hands nice an smooth.
This is a really good hand cream, but I wish it was thicker. This hand cream smells amazing, and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I find that this absorbs into the skin too fast, and my hands feel dry quickly after, and I have to reapply.
