I bought this in the hope of finding a moisturizing cream that would work for my sensitive skin. When I tried the cream in the store before I bought it, it felt nice on my skin. However after using it for a few days this cream made me break out and my skin got irritated. Instead of reducing the redness as it promised it increased it. It did everything wrong but itch. It took just a few days for my skin to look awful. If this cream didn't advertise being for super sensitive skin I might have rated it higher, but I reacted worse to this cream than I have to many regular creams. It took me quiet some while to calm my skin after I had used this for a while. And that for a product that is supposedly hypoallergenic. In addition to this the cream is quiet expensive considering the small amount that is in the bottle.

On the positive side the cream is free from alcohol, fragrance, and preservatives. I love that it comes in a pump bottle. The small sized bottle also makes it easier to take traveling. However there is no way I will put this cream on my face again. I love L'Occitane but I am sticking to non facial care products from the brand.

Granted I have difficult skin that is very sensitive but this cream advertises to be perfect for that type of skin. At least not make it irritated, break out AND increase redness!

I got this product as a gift for my birthday and I absolutely love it. Having sensitive skin and both oily and dry spots on my face, it is hard to find a cream that doesn't irritate my skin or clog my pores. This cream feels perfectly light on my skin and has improved the redness of my complection. It seems to have a calming effect when my skin feels irritated and I break out a lot less then I used to. The cream doesn't contain any fragrance, colorant, preservatives or alcohol and it is great for people who have sensitive skin. I highly reccomend this product as part of your daily facial skin routine.
