Trying this mascara was quite a big step for me since normally I don't use any mascara other than CoverGirl, and especially LashBlast. But I kind of wanted to try something new and I've always heard good things about L'Oreal. I totally love this one! I have such thin, sparse lashes. When I was buying, the lady at Shoppers Drug Mart told me this is her fave since she has no lashes as well. I loved that it built up volume for me and some length - but nothing crazy. Without eyeliner, I think this is completely suitable for day wear. It gives like a "dramatic day" look if that makes sense! I've worn it to school during the day then added a smidge of eyeliner on my top lid for going out that night - totally works! I don't think it quite replaces LashBlast for me but it is a close second!

I think this is a great and cheaper alternative to Diorshow mascara. It's a bit pricier than other L'oreal mascaras but I thought it was completely worth it. I haven't experienced any problems with clumping, and got fantastic volume and definition.

The Loreal Collagen Extra Volume mascara is an excellent performer and I think lives up to its claim of producing some serious volume in the lash department. The formula is quite nice and I didn't have any flaking or smudging through days of wear. It is quite different from any mascara i have used, and I think my lashes definitely look fuller. The brush does a good job of grabbing every little lash to achieve this, but I found that it was a little tricky to use. Due to the large size of the brush, it would often place mascara beyond the lashes on my eyelid which then needed to be cleaned up with a cotton swab. Eventually I got the hang of it and needed less clean up, but it was a persistent problem with the new mega-brush. My other complaint is with the size of the container. Why does mascara need to be in these humongous containers? One of the best selling mascaras of all time, Maybelline Great Lash, has a small, very compact container and people love it. Is there some idea that the larger the container, the larger the space it will take up in my heart? Because, if that's the case, it's not working and I only resent the space that it takes up in my already-crowded makeup bag. Small and chic is preferable every time.

If your lashes need volume, look no further than your local drugstore to pick up a tube of L'Oreal Paris Extra Volume Collagen Mascara. That is, if it will fit in your purse.

This is a good volume mascara, which gives good results, but it is not impressive. It makes a few clumps and the application requires at least three layers for something really intense. 12 times more volume, I am not sure ... It has a good staying power, does not flake and does not stain or smudge. I don't really like the brush, it's too big and less precise, but I really like the packaging. It looks very chic, high quality. Over all, I'm happy with the results. It's a good every day volume mascara.
