I really enjoyed using this product. It was easy to apply and matched my hair colour perfectly. I didn't drip and was pretty much hassle free to use. I checked online to see what the price was and was a little distrubed as it is almost as expensive as a full bottle of hair colour! I did enjoy using the product so other than the price I have nothing bad to say about it.

It was a quick, easy process, and the colour was quite good. Texture of my hair was pretty nice. Price is pretty right. A couple of criticisms - compared to other similar products I found there wasn't as much control of the process (needing some squeezing of the tube, which splattered a bit, couldn't really control the amount coming through the brush part. The brush itself was smooth and easy to apply; but the amount of product wasn't as easy). The colour itself seems to be harder to wash off of skin compared to other formulas. Mind you, that might mean that the colour will be longer lasting - but when you're dealing with black on the skin, it sticks out a bit longer. Overall it's a good product and great in a pinch to tide you over until your next colour.

I found the application to be quite easy and it didn't take very long, even on my extremely thick hair. It covered all of my gray hairs which was a big plus. Overall I was satisfied with it and would probably use it again in the future for a quick touch up.

I like that this is a quick and easy fix in between colors. It's very convenient and easy to use product. I will definitely buy this again and recommend it to friends. I like how great it matched my hair and how quick it was to make my color look fresh again!

First thing that I noticed, and was very disappointed by, were the cheap gloves. The included gloves are very poor quality, and ripped in between my fingers when I put them on. For the price, put in a full pair of rubber gloves. they must only cost pennies!!! NO CHEAP GLOVES - and for that reason alone I would consider another product. I hate stained hands!!!! The product worked well, and matched my color fairly well. I would probably use it again if they put in better gloves. I liked the smell and the applicator was very effective. I'm curious to see if there is any fading.

How was your overall experience with using this product (gray coverage, ease of use, colour matching, length of time needed, how your hair looks/feels after application, etc.)? Colour matching for this product was phenomenal. I couldn't believe the seamless blend between the previous dye job and my roots after using it. However, I did notice that the greys weren't as covered as completely as I have experienced with other brands. So even though the transition from old dye to new root coverage was seamless, my greys were still quite visible. They're not grey anymore, more of a light reddy brown (instead of dark brown like the rest of my hair). How does this product compare to other home hair colours (including root-targeted products) you've used in the past (if applicable)? I liked the built in brush tool a lot. Other root coverage products I've used in the past were quite difficult to use on my own - using a brush and a little container full of the dye. I usually end up glopping dye on my countertop or shoulder or somewhere else that it's not supposed to be. Having everything together in one neat package made it much easier to manage on my own. The plastic that the brush part could be a bit softer though. Colour matching with this product is far better than any other I've used in the past, but the grey coverage wasn't perfect (better than some that I've used, but not as good as others). Would you buy this product again and/or recommend it to a friend? I would probably buy this product again with a coupon, but I don't know if I'd buy it full price. I'd probably mention it to a friend because of the design of the tool rather than the effectiveness of the dye.

At that price, I'll buy a regular box. I prefer refreshing my color and taking care of my gray hairs if I'm going to pay that price. While it did do a good job, the previous reasons are my main ones.

I usually don't use root dyes, but I was open to the idea of trying it out. I used the shade medium brown and found that it work okay to cover my roots and grays, but it didn't cover as well as I had hoped. My natural hair is more than two shades different from my dyed colour so it wasn't a perfect match, but it blended together well and left me with a pretty good looking ombre effect. I loved how easy and fast the product was to use/apply. The little comb tip on the bottle worked great to get the dye on fast and where I wanted it. The formula was thin enough to apply easily but thick enough that it didn't run or make a mess.

My first comment would have to be that the quantitiy isn't enough to cover all the roots. The quality of it was good overall because it didn't dry my hair too much. I was a bit turned off by the scent considering it is a "Low ammonia " product, it was a bit too strong to my opinion. Thank you for letting me try it though.
