I love this foundation. The colour matches my skintone perfectly and hides all my imperfections. It is lightweight and can be layered to build more coverage when needed. Perfect formula for the summer, keeps me shine free and fresh looking all day.

I really love this loose foundation. I started using this about a year ago, when I wanted to minimize my makeup routine in the morning and keep it light. I decided to try loose foundation powder, and the first time I put it on and went over to my boyfriend's place, he immediately said, "Your skin looks great. Did you do something different?" I have used it ever since :) It's easy, light, and quick to put on. My only issue would be that mid-aftenoon I need to re-apply and it gets a bit creasy on my eyelids. Also you have to be careful when getting the powder up to the top through the holes, or it goes everywhere. I put the top on and give it a mini-shake to get out just the amount I need.

Foundation. I feel at this point in my life, I've tried about a billion different kinds. I also think my tastes have changed over the years. MAC Mineralize Loose Foundation is my current love. It retails for $34 CDN I do believe, & is a 7.5g jar of product. It comes in 9 shades, the signature MAC shades, extra light, light, light plus, medium, medium plus, medium dark, dark, medium deep & dark deep. It's a medium, buildable coverage. So the nice thing about this powder foundation is that the more you work it into your skin, the darker it becomes. I'm not talking like chola, bad blending gone wrong, but more like "oh hey, there's sun outside & my skin is a little more than than normal!" Which is awesome, especially for the upcoming season changes! It has a nice soft, smooth feel on my skin and looks really natural. The jar it comes in, is MAC quality, tough plastic with a sleek black, twist off lid & a sifter in the jar so you don't end up dumping your entire container all over the place. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. I have skin that's on the oilier side of the spectrum, but I find it works nice with my skin.

Overall, as you can tell, I'm loving this foundation currently. It's certainly worth the splurge in my eyes. It's a great buildable medium coverage foundation which is perfect for me. When I have some breakouts, its able to even out my skin tone pretty well & it's perfect for everyday wear.

I really don't like the MAC Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation/Loose. It just doesn't provide nearly enough coverage for me! I eventually resorted to using this "foundation" to help set my liquid foundations....but even then it doesn't do a good job since I use a separate setting powder to set it all since this powder foundation doesn't do a good job at "setting" my liquid foundation. I know some people don't like the packaging (I'm referring to the older packaging that had a built in sponge-like applicator that attached to the lid/top)....the packaging is okay. The only thing I don't like about the packaging is that when I'm towards the end of finishing up my foundation and I'm trying to get the last bits of powder foundation out, it's a bit difficult to do so since I was not able to remove the sifter lid (I tried a few times but that sifter lid is really on tight and I didn't want to crack the plastic so I gave up). Also, another complaint I have is the colour range. The "Medium" shade works well for my NC30-NC35 skin tone. However I also had the "Medium Plus" shade for my tanner days and that one shade up is much too orange.
