A bit drying for a longwear

I used to have this lipstick in a beautiful shade of cherry red. Unfortunately, it was very drying on my lips and often peeled and flaked off if you didn't use the included lip glass over it. Now, I'm personally not a huge fan of lip gloss because I can't seem to wear it without my hair getting involved. I wouldn't recommend this long wear lipstick. I've tried other ones that are a lot better. That isn't to say Mac doesn't have great products - they do and I love and use a lot of them. I just don't like this particular product.
