Not sure if it's the best for me

It's not a bad product at all, but I don't think it's right for me. After an hour, my skin becomes oily and the foundation shifts and becomes blotchy. I've tried with primer, without primer, moisturized, not moisturized, setting powder, no setting powder, setting spray, no setting spray, and the results are mostly the same. And for $50 a pop, I'm just not satisfied. So it's not a bad product,,but not the right match for me.

I asked a Sephora consultant for a new makeup for good coverage and she applied this one me. I couldn't believe how it looked. Made my skin look flawless. I've been using Bare Minerals for a few years now but decided to try something more full coverage and this is great. Not as light as Bare Minerals but what do you expect for something that covers sun spots and other discolorations/spots.

I have combination skin (oily t-zone, dry skin everywhere else). I bought this foundation at Sephora hoping to finally find a product that could manage my oily skin. This foundation is slightly on the thicker side but applies fairly well with enough blending. After setting it lightly with setting powder, I went about my day and checked my face every couple of hours. Amazingly, it wasn't as oily, and still looked matte. This is a really good investment and I'm glad I listened to the Sephora employee to try out this foundation.

i will probably never change foundations. this is so velvety smooth and great for combination skin. you definitely need to set this foundation after application.

I have oily skin and this was recommended by a Sephora employee. It is amazing! The price is a bit steep so I don't use it as my everyday low maintenance foundation but it is so good. It is crazy matte, not heavy or cakey though and it keeps the shine away usually all day unless its crazy hot or something!

I would not typically spend so much on makeup, but this product is great - I use it on a daily basis. It applies smoothly and lasts fairly long. It's a high-end brand, so that is to be expected from their products. I was not disappointed.

This is the most I have ever spent on a foundation $47.00 CAD was it worth it, I am not too sure if I were to compare it to my current love the Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation it would not be able to compete but as a high end foundation it was effective. It provided full coverage, matte finish but I found it make my skin look dry or lack luster don't get me wrong it is a decent foundation but I feel it is a more suitable foundation for spring/fall when the weather is not too hot but not too cold. I will test this foundation again in the summer to see what result I have then make another review to tell you my opinion.

This is a great matte foundation. It dries to a true velvet finish. It keeps my extremely oily skin matte for 4 hours. The coverage is medium-full. They offer a great color range too.

Sometimes my face is an oil-slick, especially paired with glasses. It's always sliding down no matter what makeup I use or primer I put on beforehand. This product made my skin look matte and even after a few hours it still held it's power. I had to blot a max of 2 times for a 12 hour day which is pretty good in my books. I definitely recommend this product. I just wish the price was a little cheaper but a little goes a long way.

I purchased this product for the first time almost 3 years ago now and used it every day until I purchased the Make Up Forever high coverage concealer. Again I love Make Up Forever's products because they cater to the fair skinned. I use No. 15 Alabaster and it blends well with my natural colouring. Depending on how you decide to apply this foundation is where it comes down to how much you'll enjoy it. I have tried using my fingers, a sponge and a foundation brush. I find that using your hands and a brush are two of the best ways I found the sponge technique left lines on my face. This product is oil proof and water resistant. It lasts all or most of the day, you don't have to use a lot as it is a full coverage foundation.
