Yes I will like to purchase it again

I went to makeup forever boutique and this product was recommended to me by a staff to try. Actually I'm not a fan of heavy make up, I love to look natural like am wearing nothing. So far I love this product it gives me a natural sheer coverage not full coverage unless you coat it twice for more. It comes with so many shades to choose from. So when I apply it on my face, I let dry before blending it in with a foundation brush or you can use a beauty blender that was what the staff told me. I love it

    My holy grail lightweight foundation

As the title states, MUFE’s Water Blend (formerly called Face & Body) has become my holy grail of foundations. It’s water based, water proof, safe for sensitive skin & eyes, never looks like makeup and actually buildable. I think people often overlook it because it is a sheer foundation, but it easily builds up to a medium coverage with a second layer. And still looks like skin, never makeup. I love using this on men as well, as it’s incredibly undetectable.

Be aware of what you're buying!

This is extremely watery (hence the name) and calling it a foundation is quite generous. I used this a few years back when my skin was almost flawless and even then it was subpar. I don't even know what you could apply this with because it's so watery. I wouldn't recommend this for the face for two reasons. Firstly, a BB cream would do a much better job re: coverage and smoothing, and secondly, this product smells really strange. It's extremely hard to describe.
This product is very expensive, and though you get a good amount, it's sucked up right away because of the consistency.
One good thing I could imagine this being good for is if you have some slight body discolouration that you'd like to minimize but don't want to use concealer, or the area is large.

    Not recommended

The product has almost no coverage and oxidized extremely quickly on my face. It was very light weight and liquidy feeling, and exaggerated my pores. It did smell nice though.

    maybe!

8 hour between photos using @makeupforeverca Water Blend Foundation and NO touch ups... Very very lightweight foundation. Perfect if you like minimal coverage and great for hot summer days when you are not looking for full coverage but it is buildable by applying several layers. Although it is hard to tell since the lighting is different between the two photos, in person my face hardly got oily like other foundations.

    Not a foundation for coverage

I was lucky enough to be chosen to participate in Makeup Forever's #waterblendchallenge. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

First of all, I have combo/oily skin that is prone to breakouts and I prefer a full coverage, matte foundation. This is NOT that. I definitely had to apply multiple layers (3), add concealer, and set it with a setting powder. I also tried it with both a wet and dry beauty blender, as well as a brush. I found it covers much better with the brush if applied in a pressed/ dabbing motion. The beauty blender soaks it all up because it’s so watery in consistency.

Pros: Lightweight and hydrating feel, dries down quickly, holds up throughout the day even when sweating, didn’t break me out or highlight pores, blends evenly, pump applicator.

Cons: VERY sheer (even less coverage than most BB creams IMO), makeup separates in the bottle and you really need to shake it up to blend it, strong perfume/ chalky clay-like scent, claims to be transfer proof but wasn’t totally especially after sweating or with oily skin, t-zone got shinny quickly, SLIGHTLY oxidized but to be fair I picked the wrong shade to begin with, Y colour shade was a bit orangey.

Overall opinion: I'm on the fence. This would be good if you have blemish/scar free skin that isn’t too oily and you just want a VERY light coverage foundation to add a touch of evenness. I could see this being an ok foundation for the hot summer months when you don’t feel like wearing a heavy face of makeup but don't want to go bare either. It would be like adding a subtle tint to your skin. However, for the price tag and the coverage, I can’t see myself repurchasing it.

    AMAZED

I have never worn a Liquid foundation before but I think I am going to be making a switch. It is FANTASTIC! It gives me an amazing flawless looking finish and covers all blemishes and evens out my skin tone. It is so light on your skin it doesn't even feel like you have make up on. The praline colour matched my skin tone perfectly which was awesome because I always feel like I fall in between colours. I use primer underneath and powder on top and my skin is glowing all day long! I am just so disappointed that It is so expensive. It's about $54 for a 50mL bottle and it can only be found exclusively at Sephora.
