I can wear these for about 5 hours before I start getting any creasing. That's a record! I'm normally lucky to get 30 minutes out of something! For oily lids, best used with a primer (I like my Urban Decay primers). If using a Color Tattoo that's part of the Metal line, or just not matte, I suggest using a slightly shimmery primer (such as UD's potion primer in Sin) as the normal primers seem to take some of the shimmer/metallic look away from the color tattoos (just to say a bit though).
I am in love with the color Creamy Beige that is part of their Leather line as well as Bad to the Bronze.
Nothing works on my oily lids but this! Blends well, smooth, a great variety of colours
There is such a nice range of colours in this line. The colour payoff is excellent and they last a really long time! They're also easy to apply and blend and are perfect as bases for other eye shadows or just on their own. They are just as good as MAC's Paint pots at a fraction of the price. The new collection for Fall, THE LEATHERS, consist of gorgeous new shades for the Fall season.
I really like this Maybelline product because I find that it stays on my eyelids without creasing (even though I have oily eyelids!) and the colour payoff is beautiful. Sometimes I wear it on its own and I feel like my eyes look more awake. Definitely recommended to try out.
These are great on their own or as a base colour! My absolute favourite is Bad to the Bronze. Super easy to blend and doesn't crease.
The perfect product for the morning rush! I apply it with eyeliner and I'm ready to go! The product is fully pigmented, it lasts a long time, all the available colors are beautiful ... I have the product in 5-6 colors, and I use it daily!
Great colour selection and glides on super creamy. Works well as a stand alone colour and even better as a base. Way cheaper than using MAC paint pots.
After reading the reviews on this product I finally decided to pick up a pot of the bronze color from Walmart. For the price this product works very well! It is comparable to high end cream eyeshadow. It is highly pigmented and has long staying power when used with a primer. This is now my go to eyeshadow when I want to make my eyes pop.
I have Pomegranate Punk & Painted Purple. I enjoy them both very much, they both dry into a shadow that really doesn't budge for at least 7 hrs even without a primer. They both have completely different texture but i feel the best way to use them is to have a brush or qtip on hand.
I line my lower lash line with Painted purple using a qtip and couldnt be happier with how they look with my green eyes.
Pomegranate Punk is a slightly shimmery burgundy. It has a drier texture then the other one I have. I would use a brush to apply this since it almost crumbles when you use your fingers. I would use this as a base to a red eyeshadow, looks amazing with NYX single eyeshadow in RUST
Painted Purple is a metallic purple. Its very creamy but doesn't get oily on the lids. I use this to line my lash line. A must have if you have green eyes
HAND SWATCH; Painted Purple (L) Pomegranate Punk (R)
This product is A-MAZE-ING. Not only is the pigmentation spot on, but the texture is so easy to spread. It's very creamy, but be warned that it dries really quickly. It is also not the best at blending. However, I would definitely recommended this product.
