I received it with Chick advisor and I love it ! The finish was very matte like they say, also hydrating too. Nice coverage. Make my skin soft. I think Maybelline have great foundation for the price :) You need to try this foundation! I also love the ''beauty blender'' from maybelline! :D

I tried the foundation and it actually kept my oil controlled for 4 hours till it started coming through which has been a problem for me recently. The rinnish was nice and matte but also looked natural on the skin. It did oxidize q but through the out the day but not too bad.

Just received this and used it right away! I absolutely love how light I feel on my face. Definitely glad i got to be able to review this. Everyone please us this product!!!

I received the Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. The shade I received was a bit darker than my skin tone but otherwise I am very happy with this foundation. The foundation had a nice matte finish and after 8 hours of wear, it still looked as good as it did in the morning. I will likely purchase this product in my shade the next time I go to Shoppers Drug Mart. I would definitely recommend this product to friends!

The shade I got was a little too light for me, so I ended up using it as a highlighter. I love the texture and the finishing of this product. The coverage is great and definitely lasts for hours.

I really liked this foundation. It covered nicely and was easy to use (with the dream blender)
I checked out the price online. If I bought this for regular use, instead of being able to test it for free from ChickAdvisor, I may not purchase it - BUT I do not use foundation unless I am going out, so the price is worth it if someone is looking for a non-daily use foundation.
This foundation does what it says. It is very moisturizing. I have combination skin, so I was worried - but ot works!

I got chosen to test and do a review on how I liked the Dream Velvet foundation, I was really excited to recieve this and am thankful for the oppertunity!! The box I found in my mailbox was too cute, it had both the foundation and blender. Now for the foundation, I did choose a colour that was to dark, the consistancy of the foundation was deffiantly different from any others I have tryed, it was almost like a mousse. When putting on my founation I usually dot it on my face then go in with my beauty blender, however for this when I "dotted" it on my face it didnt blend out, just stayed in the circle area where I had dotted it on.. I did my best to work with it. The coverage is great as I do have acne and scarring and it was completely covered. I also have oily skin and it did well to keep me looking matte throughout the day! I like the foundation but I wouldnt say I love it.. Really wish it was easier to blend!! & the price is alittle over priced.

This foundation is really soft to apply, but it does not blend well. It even flaked off a bit. It was matte but I do not recommend this foundation for combination skin. It lasts relatively long but i would not re-purchase this. This foundation is also quite pricey.

It didn't really blend well for me, even using the blender. I've been searching for foundation that works well with my skin type. The quality is great though, I can see it working well on others.
