Thank you Chick Advisor for allowing me to try this product! The dream velvet foundation is super light, almost a mousse consistency. You require a very small amount of the product to provide coverage for your whole face. I did find that using a primer before applying it helps it stay on for the whole day without touchups. The coverage is about medium so adding a second layer helps for a night look. It feels super light when on and doesn't smudge at all. I love this as a an everyday use foundation much better than some of my expensive, heavy ones. I'd definitely recommend this as for $16.99, it'll last a fair amount of time. Oh, and the matte finish is amazing. I have combination skin and it worked really well for the dry and oily parts. Just make sure to use a moisturizer or primer before applying, it makes the product work a lot better. It really is comparable to the high end brands so great job Maybelline!

This foundation is quite literally a dream come true. The colour matched my skin perfectly & it blended seamlessly. It gave me an even coverage but was so light weight you couldn't even tell I had foundation on. I will be buying this again!

Thank you Product Review Club for letting me try Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation. The matte finish was exactly what I was expecting and made my skin look and feel so smooth. I would definitely consider making this my regular foundation from now on.

I loved the feeling of this foundation. As soon as I received this sample to try I fell in love with it. The color wasnt a exact match but it still looked nice

i really love this foundation and am very happy i got a chance to try it through the product review club. I normally do not spend over $12 on foundation and this one costs around $17 however it is good quality and when used with the dream blender i got a natural even coverage to my makeup.

I really liked this foundation. It was light, but very effective. All my blemishes and small pimples were very well covered. (The foundation did come off at a feww spots after a few hours so you would need some retouches, especially where the blemishes are). My skin felt very soft and velvety which I loved! I would say it's a medium coverage, but also very light foundation. I would definitely recommend it, and I would definitely buy it again.

Having combo skin I've always struggled with foundation, either it looks cakey/dry when applied or I look super oily a few hours later. With this product I have neither of those problems. My skin looks super smooth and doesn't get shiny through out the day. It is matte but not too flat or fake looking. You can definitely build up the coverage from light to nearly full, depending on your preference. Seriously one of the best foundations I've ever used.

Thank you to the Product Review Club for letting me try Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation. This is a good foundation for everyday wear. It is light and has an airy whipped feel to it. The only complaint that I had with this foundation was that my skin needed to be really really well moisturized in order for the foundation to go on smoothly and stay on well. The coverage was pretty good, it hid most scars but I had to use a separate concealer for under eye dark circles. The foundation stayed put all day and did not create any extra oil on my skin. Overall, it is a good foundation for day to day use and stays on well.

loved it so smooth and silky, covered amazingly =) will for sure be buying this product in the future it even covered my freckles lol goes on really smooth
