I really enjoyed the way it felt on my face. It wasn't heavy, yet it still gave amazing coverage. I didn't have a lot of creasing throughout the day so that was great!! For a drugstore brand of foundation, it really is a great product for people who need an afordable foundation!

I have received the Maybelline New York Dream Velvet foundation free to try as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club and I can say, this stuff is the bomb! I love how It managed to cover-up every single flaw with so little product needed . Also very quick and easy to apply along with the Maybelline Dream Blender. I recommend using a good moisturizer before applying for better results because it may accentuate dry spots other than that this foundation is coverage perfection.

This product is very light on my skin, and has very good coverage. a little goes a long way

As my first time using Dream Velvet Foundation by Maybelline I was impressed, it was very light on my face, it blender very well and very easy to clean off. I couldn't tell I had makeup on all day. It lasted all day as well. It blender well and you couldn't tell I had make up. I will be buying this again and I will always be telling people about.

I received this product for free by ChickAdvisor. I really wanted to love this foundation because it seemed to be so different and I liked that they made a blender to go with it. I have to be honest, i'm disappointed. i have a light skin shade and I received the shade 20 ivory. Usually ''ivory'' is a pale yellowish shade. Most of my foundations are called this way and the color suits me perfectly. But the dream velvet ivory is red-ish!!!! It doesn't match at all I couldn't even apply it on my entire face to test it for the day. Also, the mousse texture is not for me cause it doesn't blend evenly. I'm sure it is a long lasting one... it's just too bad for the shade :(

I personally like foundations when the applicator and the product are together. And prefer foundation/concealer sticks but I was willing to give this shot before the product looked appealing and I trust the Maybelline brand. I received the ivory foundation which turned out to be a bit too light for my skin however it works well as an under eye concealer.
Great product that looks appealing on the shelf and when applied. Would recommend the product for anyone interested in testing out the product.

je suis une personne au teint tres clair et j'ai toujours utiliser du fond de teint en poudre car les autres laissaient des traces indésirables. Cette habitude est maintenant chose du passé grace a ce fond de teint incroyable. J'ai eu la chance grace a Chickadvisor d'essayer le fond de teint ivoire porcelaine ainsi que l'éponge dream blender qui a rendu l'application du produit un jeu d'enfant. Je vous recommande fortement ce produit et j'en suis certaine vous ne le regretterez pas.

I am a big fan of Maybelline products to being with so I had high expectations for this foundation and it did not disappoint. I received this foundation for free from Chick Advisor which was a great opportunity to try this product. Safe to say I am in love with this foundation. The coverage is buildable which is nice because it makes it easier for day to day depending on how much make up I want to wear. It works great alone or with a setting powder over it. I dampened the Maybelline Dream Blender to apply this foundation and it gave a airbrushed finish to the foundation and did not look cakey on my face. This formula feels like velvet it is so silky and applies smooth. Sometimes with matte foundations they can stick to your skin and make your skin look dry but this foundation did not have that issue. It really is a moisturizing matte finish which I love. I will for sure be purchasing this foundation again. It is a high quality foundation for a great price.

I never wear foundation because it always looks like a mask, and feels gross on my skin. This foundation is smooth and silky. So sheer, and blends really nicely. I wish there was a little more coverage, but no need for powder. I even put some on my hubby because I wanted him to see how silky it was. I would buy it again for sure.
