McCain smiles always put a smile on my kids faces! Even the pickiest eater will like these. Sometimes I find them bland and can dry out quickly if you over-cook, but kids seem to really enjoy them. I would recommend them for kids.

All of us love smiles!! They taste awesome and stay crispy on the outside, even when we bake them in the oven. Always have to have a bag in the freezer!

My kids ADORE these. They always get super excited when I bring "the Happy fries" out with dinner or lunch. They also make great hasbrowns for those evenings where you just can't handle dinner and you make "breakfast for dinner."

My whole family really enjoy the McCain Smiles! My 7 year old son thinks that its a really fun way to eat potatoes. We usually cook these in the oven for a health alternative to deep fried french fries. We all love the taste and enjoy the fact that they are crispy on the outside but still nice and soft on the inside. These smiles are always a hit for play dates.

fun fun fun food ...love it!!! these are good as a snack but we liked to stack them with stuff in between them like a smile a fried onion a smile a peice of ham and so on... great as a side with any meal too

My kids love them! They are a fun alternative to our regular fries and my daughter likes them with her scrambled eggs in the morning. Nice and crispy outside with fluffy soft center. Going to be adding these to our regular shopping list for sure :]

When my children were young (they are all grown and I now have a granddaughter), I had purchased some frozen McCain juice. Being a busy mom with , at the time, 3 active and young children, I was often interrupted with one thing or another and, on this day, I ended up putting the frozen cans of juice in the cupboard instead of the freezer. I called McCains the next day and asked them if it were possible and safe to use the cans. They advised me not to. They also asked me for my address. I gave it to them and didn't really think to much about it until the next day when a very kind gentlemen drive up to my home in a big delivery truck and knocked on my door. He handed me a package of a variety of McCain products. There were cans of frozen juice (more than I had originally purchased and, due to my own fault, had to throw away). There were also Smiles in the package. This was shortly after they had just started making them.
I usually do not buy convenience food and, instead, prefer to cook from scratch. However, my family and I loved these! They are crispy enough on the outside with a melt-in-your mouth, delicious middle. We continued to purchase them and, now, my granddaughter also loves Smiles!
I have never been treated so well by any company and, because of their amazing customer care, I am a life-long customer who not only goes out of my way to purchase McCain products but, always recommends their wonderful food and beverages to everyone that I can.
Loyalty to them or not, these Smiles are fantastic!

I'm going to be honest -- I'm not totally a fan of Smiles. It's not that I don't like them (I like all fries), it's just that I find them awfully plain and I can't eat them without some type of dip. They're a cute little novelty product and definitely worth the price when they're on sale. What I love most is how the outside because nice and crisp, while the inside remains light and fluffy. I'll likely buy these again because I have no reason not to. They're not repulsive, but they're also not my fav.
