Nice, light and effective

This 30 SPF sunscreen has a nice fresh and light scent. It goes on easily and absorbs into skin quickly leaving a soft but not greasy layer on your skin. The 30 level strength worked as a good sunscreen but I wasn't out in the sun for too long and it recommends reapplying every 2 hours which I didn't have a chance to do. Although the tube is a bit small, it is good to carry around to apply when you need sunscreen perhaps unexpectedly. It was nice to trial this for free.

An okay sunscreen, not a favourite

So many love the formula of this but unfortunately, I am not the biggest fan. It’s too light when used as a moisturizer and my skin also gets really shiny as if it’s trying to compensate for the dryness. It’s okay as a sunscreen (there is an SPF50 version too) but I have to wait 5-10 minutes for it to fully dry down and sink in before makeup. I don’t mind this on my indoor minimal makeup days but there are way better options in the market.

All that said, I do think this is better suited for my skin during Winter when I need more hydration. It's just too much for Summer and I hate how heavy it feels on my skin.

Not my favourite sunscreen but does the job

I received Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel sunscreen for free in exchange for my honest review.

Neutrogena is my go to sunscreen brand and has been for years, so I was very excited to be selected to give this new want to try.

I did like how light it is and how evenly and easily it applied. Well it didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy I didn’t feel like it completely absorbed all the way, could still feel a little something to the touch.

This one I tried is only a 30 SPF and I normally like something a lot stronger and something that will last longer this one says to reapply every two hours.

It doesn’t have an a really strong scent but I’m still not the biggest fan of it.

I would use the sunscreen again if I wasn’t going to be out in the sun for too long and I didn’t have another option. For now I’ll stick to the other Neutrogena brand sunscreens that I like a little better.

I need summer to come to properly test this!

I wish we had better weather in the city so I could properly test out the effectiveness before the review deadline, but I tested it before working out in the backyard and while I wasn't in the sun for long, I can say that the product is definitely lightweight and absorbed very quickly.

I like the light fresh scent (definitely "unisex") and am so excited for summer to arrive so I have a real excuse to use this!

perfect sunscreen

I tried NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST WATER GEL SUNSCREEN SPF30 thanks to ChickAdvisor and I found it light and easy to expand and absorb by my skin. The best it has the FPS 30, the perfect protection that i was looking in the summer

Love the consistency

There are SO few sunscreens on the market that are lightweight enough to not clog pores. I went on vacation in March and used another brand's 30SPF on my face and not only did I burn badly but it also made me break out as well! I can't wait to take this one on my next vacay!

Perfect SPF

I loved how this sunscreen was gel like and not tacky and flaky. It went on smooth and the SPF of 30 is perfect. Not too much not too less. Very light watery fragrance to it and comes with added Hyaluronic acid for extra moisture. I apply it throughout the day. Very light weight. #gotitfree

My Top Face Sunscreen For Sure :)

As mentioned above (heading), this sunscreen is no doubt my favourite sunscreen to use on my face for sure. Sunscreen on my face just doesn't mix. I either breakout and/or anything near my eyes will make them water non stop. This sunscreen with 30 SPF (available in 50 SPF), is lightweight, non greasy (compared to other sunscreens), smell isn't too overpowering (for me), dries/absorbs quickly, and wears nicely throughout the day, on it's own (doesn't make you look like a grease ball) or even underneath makeup. Overall, I would definitely recommend this. Decently priced for the amount and the actual value/effectiveness of this, I'd say give it a try. I think you will like it. So refreshing!

Ahhhh, I love the way this feels when it is applied! It is so light and refreshing and does not make you feel greasy at all. I usually loathe putting sunscreen on because it is so heavy and who wants to feel like that in the heat?! This is completely different. The first thing that hits you is that delicious hydroboost scent, I don't know what it is but I am obsessed with it. The gel texture is amazing, it glides over your skin and sinks in rather quickly and leaves your skin cooled and refreshed. Being able to moisturize my skin while protecting it with soft is a definite win-win for me. I will continue to use this as my primary sunscreen since I adore everything about it! Love!

Great Sunscreen

I was quite impressed with this sunscreen. It absorbs fast and is very lightweight. Usually my face will breakout from sunscreens including moisturizers with SPF but this sunscreen didn’t make my face breakout which I was very happy about.

I have worn this product outside in the highest UV time-frame with no shade for close to two hours and I didn’t burn (I hardly got a tan and I have fair skin). It’s a bit on the expensive side but I would most likely use this sunscreen again!
