Its a cleanser, and there's not much I can say about it. There's nothing particularly special about this product. It's great for washing in the morning b/c of the burst of grapefruit that jolts you awake. Other than that, I can't say it's very "acne fighting". But it does clean off my makeup pretty well, when i use it at night.
Probably will be best to use once in the morning and another cleanser at night however.
I recently got fed up with my acne prone skin and started looking for a different routine. And after reading reviews on here about different washes I decided to give this stuff a try.
It has been a week and my face is clearing up nicely!! Some reviews said it dried out their skin, but I have very sensitive skin so i have also been using a great moisturizer by Clinique and have had no problems so far.
It cleared up my black heads, face redness, and has evened out my skin tone. I am so happy with this product.
I bought this facial cleanser about a month or two ago, and am slowly going through the bottle. This is my review. =)

PACKAGING
There is nothing very special with the dispenser. It is a pump, which I like better than a cap-and-bottle sort of layout. The pump works fine, and there's not that annoying little piece of dried product at the tip of the pump. Which is good, because my last Clean and Clear cleanser had that which was extremely annoying.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The first thing I noticed about this cleanser was the smell. I think this might be the most marketable quality of the product because why have another acne cleanser on the market? I enjoy the scent very much despite not enjoy grapefruits that much. I just find them much too sour for my taste buds. So if I don't like grapefruit, why did I buy this product? I have no idea...:P
The cleanser's viscosity is like any other cleanser out there. Thick, and it foams up when you lather.
I don't have very sever acne at all, but this did seem to keep a lot of my little breakouts at bay, which was nice. I didn't get a the occasional pimple now and then, but it seems to work quite well. Darn my teenage skin!
CONCERNS
The thing that I did notice with my face was that it was drying out my cheeks a lot. I have combination skin, but I didn't expect that cleanser to dry it out that much. Kind of unpleasant when you're trying to put makeup on...
OVERALL
This is a pretty good product for an acne was cleanser. I personally do not have bad acne, so someone with worse might have a different opinion. I like the smell, and the way it lathers, but it's definitely not anything special.
Pros:
-Kept my breakouts at bay
-love the smell
Cons:
-Dried out my skin, which is annoying
Overall rating is: 6.5/10 . A decent product, but nothing special.
I bought the Neutrogena Oil-Free Foaming Scrub in Pink Grapefruit, because I was attracted to the pink color! However, I was also curious about how well this would work on my "time of the month" mild acne outbreaks. I must say, the scent is absolutely divine. If you love citrusy scents, you will very much appreciate this product. Some people may be thrown off by this, but it doesn't bother me. In fact, it wakes me right up the instant I smell it.
As for the scrub, it isn't rough and grainy like nut-based formulas (ex: almond or walnut scrubs). It has gentle beads and what feels to be a sugar-like exfoliant which does not irritate my sensitive skin. I apply the scrub to my face with my fingertips and gently exfoliate in a circular motion. It does lather up, but you still feel the scrubbing underneath. I don't use this as a daily facial cleanser, but rather twice a week as an exfoliator. It rinses off very easily and leaves my skin feeling very fresh and glowing.
However, as for its anti-acne benefits, I didn't see much of a difference in terms of alleviating or completely eliminating the spots. I don't think this product has enough acne medication (i.e., salisylic acid) in it to make a drastic difference. So if you suffer from moderate to severe acne, this probably isn't for you. I will continue purchasing this though, since I do like how gently it exfoliates and the scent is practically edible. The price is decent and you do get a good amount of product as well. You certainly don't need to apply very much on your face, so it will last you a long time, if you use it a couple of times a week, like I do.
I only tried the sample for this particular item. It worked well but unfortunatly ran out after abou three days. I am planning to purchase this item and I would recommend it to any one fighting acne.
Purchased this for my sister to use as I had read about this scrub in a magazine and she tried it for 2 weeks and absolutely loves it..
No breakouts in 2 weeks..easily washed off with water..simple to use..great results.
