    Great lunch idea!

Artichoke hearts are a great idea to bring as part of lunch. These are very good for you and have a lot of flavor. The No Name artichoke hearts taste as good as the brand names for a cheaper price.

You get a good amount of artichoke hearts in each jar. The artichoke hearts are immersed in an oil and vinegar type liquid. The flavor of the sauce has a tang to it from the vinegar and it also has various flavors from spices that are infused in there. The artichoke hearts are easy to eat out of the jar with a fork. I find these taste like fresh artichoke hearts, there are some parts that are softer and other parts that have more of a bite. I really enjoyed these!

    Delicious Marinade

I had a jar of these as part of lunch with my tuna and crackers and it was delicious. The artichoke hearts are immersed in an oil with herbs and spices. The marinade gives a fresh vinegary taste to the artichoke hearts. There are plenty of artichoke hearts in each jar. These are cheaper than other brands but taste just as great. I would never be tempted to buy any other brand but these. The texture of the artichokes is soft with a soft chew.
One thing I would watch for is the oil. These are really oily, so if they spill, they can stain your clothes.

These can be found at Loblaws, Independent or Value Mart.

I would definitely say that these artichoke hearts are as good as the Primo or Unico brand. They are very tasty for a dollar less for the no name brand. A perfect snack on top of Melba toast.
