I have Nyx Eyeshadows in a couple of colours. I love the variety of the colours they have. I would definitely recommend Nyx as a less expensive alternative to a brand like Make Up Forever or Mac because of the variety of colours. That being said, the pigmentation is good but not great. If you want long lasting, real punchy colours you always have to pay more.
I found that these eye shadows are a bit on the chalky side and can be kind of crumbly. Not a great descriptive word, by that I mean that you get a lot of cast off and sometimes the shadow is streaky. For $6 though, they aren't a bad buy.
I love NYX's eye shadow trios immensely. When I can't afford the higher end line i prefer it is my immediate go to right after for a more affordable product. The colours they sell together are always complimentary for blending techniques on, around your lid. And the price is so good considering you're getting 3 for 1 palette. I seriously look forward to more colours and products they come out with.
I love this. It's super pigmented for a ds priced product. There is also a generous amount of product for the price. I recommend this to everyone who is starting in makeup.
I think NYX eyeshadows [sold in Toronto at Rexall/Pharma Plus stores only] are comparable to Mac eye shadows. They last long but are not as pigmented as MAC e/s. Great for the price and so many colours!
I had some time to kill at a local Pharma Plus yesterday so I wandered over to the make up section. The vivid colours from the NYX stand immediately caught my attention. I ended up buying two Single eyeshadows for 4.99 each. The colours seemed great in the store but I was anxious to try them at home since they were fairly cheap and this is a newish drug store brand.
I bought Golden Dune - a beautiful golden/bronze colour, and Daffodil - a pretty lavander colour.
I wore the Golden Dune today all day in the crazy heat wave that we've been experiencing in Southern Ontario, and this eye shadow hasn't budged at all. It hasn't melted, faded, or slipped into my crease like some other drug store shadows tend to do.
The website has the full listing of the eyeshadows - A Total of 160 colours!!!!

If you see this at a drug store you should give it a try!
