It works, it is just tiresome to use.

I have seen several bad reviews about this bubble blower and was really hesitant to get it for my daughter. The only thing I wish I had known about it is that you have to constantly hold the mouth open to release the bubbles. I thought when it said automatically, it would at least stay open by itself, but no, you have to hold the mouth to allow the bubbles to come out. I am not sure if we got a better one than most people, but I know it still works and we've had it for several months and she's dropped it a few times too, hard. You do have to "prime" it often and it doesn't hold much bubble solution in its tiny reservoir.
