Maybe I'm not giving a fair review because I haven't tried it long enough, but there's a reason for that. It tastes awful!!! I don't mean to taste it, of course, but sometimes the cleanser slips into my mouth while I'm washing and I don't even notice it with other products, but Phisoderm is the worst. It's also incredibly liquid-y and milky, so invariably, it will end up on my lips at some point and I can't get rid of the taste of it. Not worth the trouble for me. However, my skin felt fine and possibly even good.

I just can't get over the feeling that I'm rubbing lotion onto my face! And in this hot muggy weather I don't want to over-moisturize! I have a light moisturizer with SPF that I would rather use than counting on my cleanser to moisturize for me, but if I use both I feel like I'm wearing a mask! Maybe I'll put it on the shelf till the cold, dry days of winter, when I will need the extra moisture.

It seems to rinse away ok, but, like other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn't take off eye makeup very well!

I don't like that it doesn't lather at all. I know it's probably a gimick and doesn't really have anything to do with a products effectivness, but I've been conditioned and it's a hard habit to break! :)

Over all, not the best facial cleanser I've used.

Recently, I received pHisoderm Dry to Normal Skin Cleanser and pHisoderm Body Wash. Like most people, I was not familiar with pHisoderm until I got the products. Its a Canadian company that offers both facial and body cleanser. The skin cleanser was cream-like substance that felt like putting on lotion. It did not lather up which was fine with me because I have always been a fan of Cetaphil. Unlike Cetaphil, it did not remove make up which was a downer for my part. However, it did leave the face moisturized and refreshed. The bottle has basic packing and is quite large, so it would last for a very long time. The smell has a subtle distinctive chemical smell that may offset others, but I was not bothered by it. I recommend using this product at night because of its moisturizing component, but you'll need to use wipes to remove your make up beforehand. After two weeks of use, there were some small pimples on my face, but that may be due to other factors. The retail price for this product is $12.99 and can be found in drugstores such as Shoppers Drug Mart. Although I am still a fan of Cetaphil, pHisoderm is relatively cheaper and does a decent job. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an affordable mild and sensitive cleanser.

This is an ok face wash. I prefer it for night-time cleansing than in the morning; it seems a bit too rich for morning washes for me. I like that it doesn't lather, as I prefer cream facial cleansers. I don't wear much makeup so this does a pretty good job of getting off all my makeup except for the mascara. I only wear water resistant formula mascaras that typically wash off with ease but this couldn't get all the mascara off so I still have to use a separate eye makeup remover for the mascara.

I love that it doesn't leave my skin feeling dried out. Most store-bought cleansers dry my skin out horribly, but this leaves it feeling soft, smooth and moisturized.

The only thing I don't really like is the smell. It is light, but very chemically. I think it smells a bit like glue. Other than that it's not bad. I'm not sure it's something I'd buy though, because of the fragrance.

This product feels gentle and cleans decently if you're not trying to take off a lot of makeup. I love the pump dispenser, however I'm not a big fan of the smell. It kinda smells greasy yet chemically... The product does not foam up, so it kind of feels like you're putting lotion all over your face.
