Delicious vegan kebab

Both my husband and I had the chance to try the Plantropy Jackfruit Kebab, thanks to @thisisbutterly and @plantropylife 🌱

We were genuinely impressed by how quick and easy it is to prepare—just pan-fry for about 5 minutes on each side and you’re done!

The flavour is packed with warm spices and just the right amount of heat 🔥—something we both really enjoyed. This would be an absolute hit with our vegan friends and family. In fact, we were already messaging them about how good it is as we were typing this caption! 😄

If you’re looking for a vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and high-in-fibre kebab, this is definitely it!

Vegetarian appetizer

Sunshine, family and the BBQ, it doesn’t get much better than that. @plantropylife jackfruit kebabs are a great vegetarian appetizer. They are gluten free, high in fibre and healthy. Theo gave them his thumbs up approval. We all found them a little bit spicy and weren’t a fan of a texture but they make a great plant based option.

Vegan Kebab - shockingly good

Tried the Plantropy Jackfruit Kebab and I’m honestly shocked at how good it is. I threw it in the air fryer, paired it with some crackers and spinach dipping —and it turned into a full meal. Super flavorful, crazy easy to make, and totally clean ingredients. Vegan or not, this is one of the best freezer finds I’ve had in a while. And I love how is not super spicy and I can still taste the ingredients.

So flavorful!

I have been vegetarian for years and I'm picky about my meat substitutes. So many have to be smothered in a sauce or they don't have any flavor. I am pleasantly surprised because these are flavorful on their own! It has been so windy here lately I ended up grilling them inside and they were fantastic. I love that they contain no soy, no sugar, no sulphites and no trans fat. They are easy to find at my local Superstore and will become a staple in my freezer. Jackfruit is such a powerhouse!

Handy for working moms

I am lucky to have it in my fridge for my toddler as a healthy and easy snack as a working mom. I really like it’s ingredients which are 100 percent vegan.I highly recommend it.

Jackfruit kebab

Surprisingly good! The jackfruit had a nice pulled texture and soaked up the spices well. Tastes great in a wrap. Not exactly like meat, but super satisfying for a plant-based option. Would get again!

@plantropylife Jackfruit Kebabs have completely changed the #nomeat lifestyle! I was not expecting these to taste as good as they do! They were packed with flavors and spices, giving them an Indian-style punch, with a spicy kick at the end. The texture was juicy and resembled meat which was a pleasant surprise, especially as someone who isn't vegetarian. You can either steam, grill or pan fry them. No way would I have ever thought they're made with jackfruit! They're absolutely DELICIOUS 🤤

Plesantly Surprised

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and texture of these kebabs, although I think the packaging should give a warning or spice level. I was not expecting them to be spicy, which I didn't mind but there should definitely be a note on the package. The texture was great and the seasoning gave a really great taste that could be served up in many different dishes and cuisines. I enjoyed them just on the side of a salad but think they'd be great on pita with onion and tomatoes and garlic sauce.
