Flavourful vegan kebob

This meatless kebob tasted so good! First off, the texture was nice and chewy. It was super moist as well. The flavour was killer! Tasted well seasoned. You could smell the spices as soon as you opened the package. It was also super quick to prepare. I’ll most likely be buying this again!

The kebab is so yummy and very tasty. As someone on a strict diet, this is a perfect protein to my weight loss diet and all my meals. Hard to believe it is a vegan product! I’m amazed and impressed .

Surprisingly Good

I was honestly surprised by how good this was! The texture is super meat-like — I wouldn’t have guessed it was jackfruit if I didn’t know. It’s got a nice hint of spice, packed with flavour, and cooks up really well. Perfect for wraps, bowls, or even on a pizza. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a tasty plant-based option!

Well seasoned and tasted great!

I was pleasently suprised with how good these kaboobs tasted. An amazing free of cholesterol and rich in fibre meal alternative. Tasty and well seasoned. Quick and easy with so many meal option weather it kabob dinner or in greek pita. Cook on stove top, grill or steam. I would highly recommend Plantropy Jackfruit Kebabs and will be adding this meal to my family meal rotation. Can be found at Real Canadian Superstore in the organic section of my local grocery store.

So juicy and packed with flavour!

These @plantropylife jackfruit kebabs are so unbelievably good! They’re so easy to prep - you just defrost them, fry them up, and pop them in a kebab! I decided to eat them in a “deconstructed” cilantro rice bowl and was blown away by the flavours and how juicy and delicious the kebab was. I’m not kidding when I say that it tasted like a real meat kebab! I found these in the frozen food section at Goodness Me! and for a super affordable price! They’re free of cholesterol, packed with fibre, have zero trans fat, and are soy, gluten, sugar, and sulphite free!

Healthy And Spicy!

This is a plant-based kebab, and it was super easy and quick to prepare in our oven. We always wanted to try having jackfruit as part of our meal, so this was a perfect opportunity. We bought ours at the Real Canadian Superstore in the Natural foods section, which took some time to find and locate as it wasn't a noticeable aisle in the store.

Once cooked and ready, the kebabs have a unique flavor that's both zesty and spicy, with the highlight being that they are fully vegan! It is free of cholesterol, rich in fibre, has zero trans fat, soy, gluten, sugar and sulphite free, so it felt very healthy with every bite. My only "complain" would be we wanted more in the box!

Tasty and Convenient, but Needs a Little more

I was curious to try the Plantropy Jackfruit Kebabs as a plant-based alternative, and they turned out to be a pretty solid option! The texture of the jackfruit was surprisingly meaty and satisfying, especially when crisped up well on the pan or grill. The seasoning was flavorful with a nice mix of spices, though I did find it leaned a bit heavy on the cumin, which may not be for everyone.

What knocked off a couple points for me was the portion size and overall balance. The kebabs are on the smaller side, and they could use a touch more moisture or a dipping sauce to really shine. They’re great as part of a larger meal, like in wraps or on a salad, but not super filling on their own.

All in all, they’re a tasty, convenient option for a quick vegan meal or snack—just not quite mind-blowing. I'd buy them again, but probably with a plan to dress them up a bit.

Delicious and affordable!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good these tasted! Although the ingredient list does not specify which kind of herbs are used, it tasted like some delicious Middle Eastern fare - a little bit spicy and a whole lot of flavour. You can cook them in a variety of different ways (airfryer, pan-fried, etc) but we opted for BBQing them. Quick tip: let them defrost before cooking, as it reduces their cook time significantly and retains all its juiciness.

These would make a great option for our vegan friends during BBQs this summer - and for only $15, they won't break the bank.
