J'ai reçu ce produit gratuitement pour en faire l'essai.Globalement le goût était bon il n'y avait que la saveur de caramel qui était à la limite de me déplaire. Ce n'était pas tout à fait naturel, l'arôme était trop puissant. La texture de la barre était très bonne, ni trop molle, ni trop dure. Côté nutritionnel cela est aussi assez intéressant. Dans le rayons des barres véganes, l'éventail abordable n'est pas très large et sur le pouce cela sera un bon dépanneur pour moi.

Good, But Cashew Flavour Is Hard to Detect

This is among the tastiest protein bars I have ever had. Plenty of nuts, crunch, texture, and flavour. That said, the cashews themselves I found a bit hard to detect. They have a milder, creamier flavour so maybe that was going to happen. I think a bit less salt might have helped this bar.

Despite all of that, I am still definitely a fan and I can see myself buying these in the future.

One down side is I can't bring it to my volunteer gig at a school because of the nuts. But again, it's vegan, so I understand.

I definitely see this as a thing I'll eat again as part of my healthy eating routine that supports the muscle growth I am looking for out of my weight training. :)

Great Flavor!

The overall flavor of this PowerBar is very delicious, even comparable to a chocolate bar. I'm only giving 4 stars because I was really hoping it wouldn't have that strong 'protein flavor,' but unfortunately I could still taste it. I've tried every type of protein bar I can find and this may not have as much protein, but it is the best I've tried taste wise. I don't know if I would purchase this product personally, but everyone I shared it with plan on buying them in large quantities!

Great for after a workout

I loved the taste and the crunchy chewy flavour but found the nutritional value disturbing. It has far too many calories to be an average goto snack. It did satisfy me after my workout but I would not reach for one unless I had done some exercise.

It could have used less chocolate and that would have lowered the calories. I did like that the protein was plant based but it is really not a healthy choice and with all the fats.

I will keep some around for post workout and biking.

Great snack for vegetarians/vegans

As a person with active lifestyle (training 5 days per week), I am always in need of on-the-go snacks. This Powerbar plant protein cashew, salted caramel and dark chocolate fits the bill for post workout. Because of its sweetness and "dessert" taste, I personally prefer this as "dessert" or post workout snack to replenish my glycogen, but for those snack junkies out there, this can might as well be your snack any time of the day! It has nice salty caramel flavour blending nicely with cashew nuts. I absolutely liked this product and would purchase them again even though I am not vegetarian. I would highly recommend this especially if you are vegetarian or vegan.

Plant-based alternative

Thank you for the free samples. I enjoyed eating a vegan snack bar. It has a good amount of protein (10 g per bar) too. If there were less sugar that would have been great.

Great taste and convenient snack

I received the cashew, salted caramel and dark chocolate protein bar free for testing from chickadvisor. My initial impression when I read the package contents is I was a little disappointed in the macronutrient distribution. While there are 10g of protein, which is nice, there are 12g of fat, which is high for me. I do like that there’s a decent amount of fibre at 7g. But I would love it if the protein could be a little higher and the fat a little lower, if I am using this is a protein bar.
The taste however is amazing! I love the salted caramel flavour, mixed with the dark chocolate. Sweet and salty are my favourite combination. The texture of the nuts adds a nice crunchy texture to the bar.
I’m not sure if I would be these again, as they are a bit pricey, but within a reasonable range for a protein bar. If the protein content could be increased I would be more likely to purchase these bars.

Tastes Awesome

I #gotitfree with the product review club and I was pleasantly surprised at the taste! It was unlike other protein bars because you really didn't taste the protein part but it wasn't too sweet either. It had a nice crunchy texture and had a nice mix of nuts and chocolate. It was really easy to eat while on the go. Would love to try other flavours.

Luxe granola bar!

The texture of this product is very rich and full-bodied. The chewy texture with the combination of cashew, caramel, chocolate and plant protein can make you feel full for a while. It does however has a relatively high amount of sugar, which is I why I gave a 4 out of 5.
I enjoy that there is no artificial flavours or colours. This product is for everyone since it's vegan and non-GMO.

Loved The Taste

This plant protein bar from Power Bar tasted more like a granola bar, which totally surprised me, to say the least. It did not taste like other energy bars I've tried in the past. Is this good news? Yes, because other protein bars I've had weren't the greatest tasting. This bar in particular does contain 10g of sugar, that's almost 3 teaspoons, so I did find it a little sweet, but it was pleasant tasting. I think maybe a little more protein and/or fibre in these bars would make a difference. They are a little hard to chew, but I found taking a smaller bite worked out okay. I loved the combination of ingredients in this one.

Do I recommend this? Yes
