Pre-game power punch

I mixed this with some cold brew coffee one morning before a hockey game when I didn't want heavy proteins like bacon and eggs (breakfast of champions!) weighing me down. It has an impressive 30-gram dose of protein, which, along with a bagel, got me through my game without hunger pains.
I did try this straight at first, and though the chocolatey flavour is good, I didn't love the thickness and sweetness. It is *generously* artificially sweetened. Personally, I would rather have it half as sweet, and made with real sugar. Diabetic consumers may find it suitable, though.
I didn't find it chalky, which I liked better than some powder mixes I've tried. Also, who doesn't love a grab-and-go snack?? Just make sure it's well-chilled!!!

Would I recommend it? Not for frequent consumption, due to the artificial sweeteners. But occasionally, for a pick-me-up before or after exercise, sure!

quick and easy way to increase protein intake

My husband said he has tried premier protein in the past and enjoyed it - I believe it was this flavour. We both tried the free sample of it today. To me it tastes sort of like chocolate milk and to him it tastes like chocolate protein powder. It felt thick but not chalky or powdery. I think these are great for people who need to increase their protein intake and need a quick way to do it ex. on your way out the door to work you can take one of these for breakfast. My husband is not a big breakfast person so these would be great for him in the morning. For me it would be something to hold me off between meals and increase my protein intake because I don't eat a lot of meat. We will probably purchase this brand in the future.

Good for low carb lifestyle

The flavor of this reminds me of watered-down chocolate milk, it's not bad, I just prefer the vanilla and caramel over the chocolate. With 30grams of protein and only 1 gram of sugar this is a great addition to a low carb lifestyle.

This was the first one I tried and it tasted great. It’s the perfect amount to fill you up but not too much. It has a great chocolate flavour as well

Just right

I was so happy when i was selected to try Premier Protein Chocolate Shake.

This chocolate shake really surprise me, because i wasn't love for chocolate, because either it was too sweet or bitter, but this shake is just right.

With just 1g of sugar it was just right and i even love that it is low fat, and it even provide you with 24 vitamins and minerals.

I will definitely buy this product.

Afternoon Craving!

Premier Protein Chocolate shake was perfect for my afternoon sweet cravings. It is sweet but only has 1g of sugar. So guilt free! Plus the added bonus of 30g of protein per shake. It was the perfect afternoon snack to help me last until dinner. Love it! #gotitfree #premierproteincanada

Chocolate flavour fell short of expectations

I received both the chocolate and salted caramel flavours of these shakes, and by far preferred the latter. While the chocolate shake boasts the same features as the other flavours (namely a hearty serving of post-exercise protein at the expense of only one gram of sugar), the taste and aftertaste left a lot to be desired. As a huge fan of chocolate and anything chocolate-flavoured, I had high hopes for this and was very excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, the artificial chocolate flavour left a lot to be desired and I found myself preferring my homemade chocolate-flavoured protein powder shakes. This isn't to say that the other flavours are not great (the salted caramel was fantastic!), but I don't think I'll be repurchasing this particular one.

Refreshing

I'll start off by saying I am not a fan of chocolate in general, but this is not bad at all. It's refreshing (when chilled), filling and convenient. On the run from work to the kid's schools to play dates to after school activities it's great to keep on hand.

Tasty and filling

I made this into an iced mocha using the recipe on the website and I thought it was ok. The taste wasnt as chocolatey as I had expected and the texture was a bit grainy but overall it was nice and filling as an afternoon snack.

Fuel for a busy lifestyle

Having a busy lifestyle and constantly on-the-go, I was super stoked to recently have the opportunity to try out the caramel and chocolate flavoured protein shakes from @premierprotein 🥛🍫

With 30 g of protein, 1 g of sugar, 160 calories, and loaded with 24 vitamins and minerals (Vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D, K, iron, fibre, biotin, niacin, folate) these shakes are great for giving you that energy to make the most of your day - I enjoy drinking these straight as pre-workout fuel and after a workout for muscle recovery, adding them as a coffee creamer, and to pancakes for that extra zing. Out of the two flavors, I personally liked the chocolate more than the caramel (with caramel being a but too sweet for my liking). Definitely worth giving these protein shakes a try! 🏃🏻‍♀‍🏋🏻‍♀‍💪
