Leaves a weird texture

I bought this to add volume to my roots for when I’m wearing my hair up. Although it does work to add volume, the way it makes my hair feel grossed me out. The texture is weird. I’ve tried it 3 times and just can’t seem to get over that feeling. It is rather expensive and I would not recommend this.
