I've just started wearing foundation more regularly, and still feel pretty new to what products work best for my skin. I've always been concerned with making sure my face makeup looks as natural as possible, especially because of my freckles and having an oily t-zone. I didn't want to cover up my skin (and freckles) completely, and needed something that would last all day on my skin and not look too shiny OR too matte and unnatural.

So, after reading up a bit about Nearly Naked foundation, it seemed like a good product to try out. It's supposed to be light, easy to blend and not cakey or greasy. I definitely agree with all of that - the liquid is nice and light, not too watery but not thick either. It blends very well, and gives you enough time to do so before it dries down. You can apply this more generously and get really full coverage right off the bat, but I prefer to use a tiny bit and lightly pat it on with my fingertips, using more in certain areas. I find that it looks way more natural and beautiful that way, and you only end up using a tiny bit of product.

Because of my complexion, this does start to look shinier throughout the day, and my face (more specifically my nose and forehead) definitely benefits from a little blotting and maybe a touch up or some powder, after a few hours of wearing this. But it's very manageable, and I'm still trying out different primers so that probably has an affect.

I like the way that this feels on my skin - it's very light, and basically not noticeable at all, which is great. Plus it washes off easily, and hasn't caused any issues with my skin ( again, I use this with primer so that might make a difference).

The way my skin looks with this on differs from natural light to artificial / indoor lights. I really prefer the way it looks inside; for some reason it looks more powdery and noticeable in sunlight. That makes me think that this will be perfect for fall and winter, but might not be something I use too often in the spring and summer.

There are 16 shades to choose from, which is great (although I'm terrible at matching my skin tone to products, and definitely had to ask for help in the store when choosing which one of these to buy!) I paid $14.99 at Shopper's which is more expensive than some places, but I feel like I got a decent product AND this will last me quite a while.

*I read that the US and other versions of Nearly Naked foundation have SPF in them, but there is no mention of that on Revlon.ca or any of the bottles of that I have, so maybe the Canadian ones don't. I would definitely prefer it to have SPF than not, so that's a small disappointment, but it's still a great product!

Okay, so I bought this foundation along with two others because I wanted to try something that was light enough, covered enough, but didn't feel cakey or look like a doll. I think the liquid is not bad, but the bottle top makes it seem worse than it is, simply because too much comes out. I started using a brush to dip in it so I can smooth the make-up on and not have a whole lot spill out. The coverage was mediocre, but honestly, that worked for me, because my skin is so thin and blemishes come easily, I wanted something that highlighted enough and covered enough. It was definitely not cakey which was also good.
Now, if you want this make-up for nights or for photos then I suggest getting the PhotoReady make-up by Revlon as well. If you want something light for everyday dewiness, then this is the product for you!

I own and love the Urban Decay Naked foundation and I bought the Revlon dupe of it on a whim. The foundation and the matching setting powder were on same as a package together for $15 which I thought was a decent price considering each one is about 15 on its own usually. I wasn't sure how I would like it, I usually go for very matte, high coverage, pigmented foundations but I'm really happy with this foundation so far. It's quite liquidy and light weight but that doesn't mean it doesn't give good coverage. It has quite a bit of pigment to it so while it is lightweight, it does cover blemishes and even your skintone. It has a semi-matte finish I would say, it is a bit dewy. You definitely need to set it. It is quite smooth, goes on well, and blends easily and sets nicely.

The one thing I'm not crazy about is the packaging. It's an inconvenient bottle since it just has a screw on lid and no pump and it comes out pretty fast and you end up wasting some since a little does go a pretty long way.
