I have this in "Crush", a neutral peachy pink color. It looks great on my fair skin. But, I shared it with a family member who has tan skin and it also looks great on her. The staying power is good compared with many other brands. But, I am still looking for a lipstick that will last all day. I reach for ths lipstick often and want to try more of the colors in this line.

Great quality liipstick for a very cheap price! Stays on well, and comes in a variety of great colours. I would defintiely recommend it!

Another very good drugstore lipstick. It does last decently, it lasted through a dinner party quite well. I didn't find it drying at all which was surprising since more long lasting formulas are usually drying. I find that it did settle into the lines of my lips a little bit but if I'm sure to but balm on before lipstick it isn't a problem.

When I bought Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick there was no tester in the store left and I made a kind of risk to buy that. And good for me. The lipstick is so soft and the colour indeed lasts very long (taking into account that I drink pretty much water during the day). I have already recommended that to my friends and they are glad to wear that.

I love this lipstick, specifically shade 170 "Alarm", for a night out or if I am feeling particularly sexy and sassy. It is a very vibrant and luxurious red. This lipstick glides on smoothly and leaves your lips feeling moisturized. I was impressed that it stayed on and still looked good after a few hours of wear.

Until a couple of months ago, there were two types of makeup I rarely wore ... almost never, actually, unless I was on stage. I was not into bright red lipstick, and I was not into blush.

This VERY bright, super-saturated, juicy red lipstick was a purchase for a show; I needed something to make my lips pop under the stage lights, and I was dressing up as a celebrity from the 1950s, so I knew it would be okay to give the audience a super-red lip. I bought it in Diva Red and I wish I could recommend it to you all but realistically, everyone needs to find her own shade of red. This hue might be as awful on someone else as it is great on me. (I'm darker-than-olive-skinned, sort of a hodgepodge of colours in winter and a uniform caramel colour in summer. Very dark hair and eyes.) Take your time and experiment.

I do have to reapply it a few times in a night, but I actually see that as a plus. Those never-come-off lipsticks remind me of paint, and that's a huge makeup turnoff for me. I rarely get the colour on my teeth. I tend to apply a bit of lip balm or gloss first, then apply the lipstick liberally and touch it up whenever I need to (after eating, etc.) -- I don't use lip liners, but since it's a shocking colour, some women might want a liner to keep the outline crisp.

This lipstick keeps your lips feeling soft and moisturized, especially if you use a lip balm underneath it. The show I bought it for is long gone and I've been wearing it out to clubs and parties, or even in the middle of the day sometimes, just because I feel like it -- it's winter, we all need more colour! Red lipstick also makes your teeth look even whiter. (Those of you who were already into red lipsticks are saying Duh ... I know, I came late to this party!)

Since I'm sure I'll be using this until it runs out and then heading back for some more, I have no complaints about the price. My general rule for small purchases is that the number of times I will use an item must match or exceed the number of dollars I paid for it. (Also, if the item will be used/seen in pictures, performances or video footage, the dollar-per-use rule becomes obsolete.) So this lipstick has more than paid for itself already; plus it wormed its way into my regular arsenal :)

I don't usually wear lipstick but I thought I'd give this a try. I bought this in "Paradise" and loved it. This lipstick was great on price and is of pretty good quality. It moisturizes and is a bit shimmery. The colour is pretty neutral as well.

i bought this lipstick in 250 Birthday Suit. It is a soft, light brown, natural and neutral everyday color. I love it! It has become my go to everyday lipstick. It goes on smooth and the color is the exact same as when you look at the stick. The smell is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! It smells and tastes like some Betty Crocker vanilla cake icing, which is marvelous. The lasting power could be better, I don't think it lasts very long but that might be because I loved the taste so much I ate what was on my lips!

*Price: I give this a 5/5 stars because it's a drugstore brand, which means lower price point.

*Quality: I give this a 4/5 stars because it is a nice creamy lipstick. It applies well straight out of the tube or with a lip brush. The smell is pleasant too (one of my biggest issues with drugstore lipstick is the waxy taste and smell, which this lipstick doesn't have).

*Effectiveness: I give this a 5/5 because it has great staying power! I really adore this lipstick. It's one of the only drugstore lipsticks I'll use.

-Extra notes: I'm a medium tan skinned girl and my favorite lipstick in this line is "Celeb". It's just the right colored pink for my skintone.

This kind of lipstick keeps my lips moisturized all day. Rimmel has quite an extensive palette, so you'll definitely find your shade. They have a very natural look to them, so it doesn't look to outrageous to wear them. Overall, really good value for this price range.
