Odd how this doesn't work?

I tried this nail polish bottom and top coat many times (you should never trust something that says they can do more than one thing... A bottom and top coat? That just sounds wrong!...) and it never worked. As a bottom coat, it never dried and consequently made my nail polish always slip off after a few minutes. As a top coat, it's too liquid-like and always drags the colour of my nail polish off my nail! Not a fan, and I'm still surprised this is sold by a brand that's known for good products such as Sally Hansen.

I bought this nail polish to use as a base coat, and I am not happy with it at all. The polish bubbled, wrinkled, and shrank on my nails when I applied it. It took 10 minutes to dry a thin layer, which is unacceptable.

Upon applying my nail polish above it (Sally Hansen Blue Me Away), it proceeded to warp, wrinkle, bubble, pull, and shrink the polish! I would have thought using the same company's nail polish would at least mean it would work okay with the base coat.

I had to redo many of my nails to try and get it to work, but it never did! Ever! It was time consuming and frustrating!

As a top coat, I was less than impressed. It was not a "diamond shine" like the name says it is. The blue polish only got a tiny amount shinier. I found the Sally Hansen Invisible nail polish to be shinier than this.

This was a huge disappointment. It was $8.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart, so a bit of a costly disappointment.
