I bought this looking for long lasting wear with no chipping. After a few days, the tips of my nails have chipped off. I’m not overly impressed, considering each was 12$. I applied the top coat as well which was another additional $12.

Price for the kit was quite acceptable for this type of product. I found the polish went on quite nicely, a slight streak on a few nails but perfect with the second coat. Waited until dry as instructed, the top coat. Dried quite quickly, while I did more work on the computer and with keyboard. Pleased with all of that. Unfortunately still had the same wear and chipping that I have had with others using the light. Needless to say I am still searching for the best gel polish for longevity.

I have started using an LED lamp to do my nails in the hopes of having the polish last two weeks. Even though I use the bas coat, the polish and the top coat as recommended, the manucure doesn't last 24 hours. It has happened more than once, and I am not very impressed with this product, unfortunately.

I purchased this product upon reading about it in a magazine. I always find that I do my nails and the next day there are chips in the polish. I have been looking for a gel type nail polish that does not need the lights. I read that this polish was easy to use and long lasting. I bought a 2 pack that had a colour as well as the gel overlay. It was a bit pricey but if it worked it would be worth the price paid. I found it a little hard to apply and there were some bumps in the polish - it did not go on a smoothly as I would have hoped. While the polist lasted a little longer than other regular polish I have, it was only a couple of days before I had some chips in my polish. I was disappointed with the performance of this product given the price. I will try it again to see if I get different results as there are variables but my first impression is that it is only slightly better than regular polish.

I was so excited when I purchased this.. However, I was severely let down. I bought it because I get my nails done frequently and I thought I could save money and do them myself. The packaging says that the polish should last 2 weeks.. Mine barely lasted two days before it was chipping. The colours are really pretty.. But overall the quality is lacking and it was no different than any other nail polish. I will not buy again, nor would I recommend to anyone.

The gel went on like thick rubber and peeled off just as quickly. The colours are good and vibrant but it doesn't last.

This is not a bad product, but for the time, money and effort it requires for you to get a gel manicure, it is really not worth it for me. It does not last as long as a gel manicure you'd get at a salon, so I wouldn't recommend it.

I prefer the individual gel nail polishes by Sally Hansen (requires no light) over this.

i purchased this product at Target when it was on sale. I used it right after I bought it I was so excited. It's suppose to save you money and look fabulous. I didn't get the same effect because my nails we not shinny as gel nails were suppose to be. And with in the first week it started to chip. No chip for 2 weeks eh? Yeah let me see about that. In the end I returned them and got my regular shellac nails which are more costly but worth it because they last 2 weeks and more without chipping.

If you like having awesome nails, or have crappy soft nails like me and want to be able to provide strength to them and grow, I definitely suggest getting a Sally Hansen gel nail kit. Easy to apply and provide salon quality. The only down side is that the LED light doesn’t dry them as quick as they claim. Took me a few minutes instead of the 30 seconds on the instructions. However adding a little time to the process to save money is totally worth it to me!
