Highly Recommend!

I found this set met my needs and more! I am not one to go out and spend money on nail salons on a frequent basis. I find it more convenient and cost savvy to do my own nails at home. This set allows me to do gel manicures and pedicures whenever I want for basically no cost! The instructions are easy to follow, and the more you do it, the less you will require to pull them out. I do manicures for friends and family frequently with this set. The materials do not need to be replenished often at all, and a single bottle of gel polish lasts forever! I have also found that the lamp works with other gel polish brands asides from only sally Hansen, so you can experiment with other brands as well when one has a different shade that sally does not. I also found that it works with sally Hansen's nail wraps as well, so I can play around with the fun patterns if I wish to do so. The world is really your oyster with these. I also have found that if you are not working highly with your hands (with food, or construction, or such) your manicure will last forever! I work in an office and maybe switch it up once every 2 weeks. I could not recommend this set enough!

Great Polish for longterm wear

I absolutely love this nail polish! I can easily put it on, wear it for two or more weeks and only have to replace because of new nail growth and the missing fresh shine of the top coat. There are only two only possible problems with this nail polish:
1. if you are not a neat nail painter, your nail polish will not last. You have to be precise with the nail polish and only get it on your nails. If you get it a lot on your skin or cuticle area the nail polish will lift on those areas and will in turn make the nail polish peel off of your nail.
2. Price. like 20$ bucks for a very small bottle. the only reason i continue to buy it is because i like to think of it this way: you would normally have to redo your nails ever two days (pending you redo them every time you get a chip) and with this nail polish you would only have to redo the because of growth, in turn, making the bottle last approx. the same amount of time.

Lasts long, and looks professional

I received the salon gel polish kit as a gift and absolutely love it! I know it’s a bit pricy, but compared to the salon.. it’s worth it. The results are stunning, shiny nails that last at least a week. If you are always running your fingers through your hair.. as it grows out sometimes your hair gets snagged under and lifts the base. I recommend getting this for a great gift, a fun girls night or for those ladies that want the salon look at home!

Easy to apply, long lasting and really protects weak nails

PROS:
This kit is very easy to use and the liquid layers self-level for a smooth result.
I find I can wear the gel two to three weeks before it begins to lift or chip, and it does a far superior job of protecting my weak, tear-prone nails than regular polish.
It is more affordable than salon gel manicures and more convenient to be able to do my nails anytime without booking an appointment.
CONS:
Applying the layers takes some accuracy and ambidexterity - if the product runs into/over your cuticles, that will cause uneven and premature lifting in the area.
Pale colours yellow quite quickly; within a few days. A delicate cherry-blossom pink will turn a yellowy-apricot-beige within a week. This is not noticeable with the more intense shades.

Almost as good as the salon!

I love that I can get salon-quality nails at home at a fraction of the cost. I love the colours and how much longer it lasts than regular nail polish. It lasts so long I find I need to remove it because of nail growth rather than chipping, especially on my toes!

Des ongles parfait!!

Ce kit est parfait pour les gens comme moi qui aime changer souvent de couleur de vernis! Le vernis gel tient environ 2-3 semaines pour moi et j'adore l'effet! Ça vaut vraiment la peine, considérant le prix du produit!!!

Love this product!

At first I thought it was a little pricey but found it goes on lovely, nice and even. With the top coat you can get up to a week with normal daily activities. I am usually had on nail polish but found this one to be the best so far!

Great colours and easy to apply

I love this nail polish! There is such a huge selection of colours and it goes on easily. I’m currently wearing Blacky-O which is one of my favourites!
Some of the red colours stain my nails but the black removes very easily.

Amazing!

I love this! My nails look like something out of a salon but SO much cheaper. I've gotten a ton of people compliment my nails. It's also really easy to use which is great. I've only had it for a month so I can't comment on how long the light lasts and such. I wish there was more of a selection of colours though.

Wonderful Drugstore Option

I prefer having gel nails over a regular manicure because I use my hands a lot both at home and at work, so regular nail polish rarely lasts a day on me. I was intrigued with Sally Hansens gel nail formula since it's a lot more accessible than salon brands so I was hoping it would be great. And it is! It lasts about 1 week on me and the polish is very opaque and vibrant. Two coats of the colour and you're good to go.

A tip for those saying it did not last as long: When you're applying gel nail polish, it's really important that the polish does not touch your cuticles nor the skin on the side of your nails (i.e, less is more!), because this will cause the polish to lift off and you wont get the full wear time of it.

I will definitely purchase more of these.
