Not my favorite, but still good for some…

Let me start by saying that I love the Shiseido brand and have owned several products from their various lines. I currently own a spray sunscreen from them for spf50 and it sets my makeup; I love it.
Now let’s talk about the Shiseido Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector. I have used this product over the last few weeks in a variety of ways to see what worked best for me. When I used my serum, moisturizer and then applied this; it didn’t work well for me and there was pilling and face felt patchy. When I applied this just over a light moisturizer, it worked better. I did feel there was a slight whiteish cast, but corrected with makeup. I feel that this works great as a makeup primer with spf. Face was smooth and ready for makeup. It did dry out my skin a little also, but it did not break me out at all, and that happens sometimes with lotion type spf.
Bottom line- I will not be repurchasing as I prefer the application and ease of their spray spf. However, this product will work well for those that use a primer daily, have oily skin or break out often and prefer this type of application versus the spray.
