Lovely Scent!

I received a free 4ml sample sachet of Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. This was my first time using a cleansing oil, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The oil wasn't as thick as I'd have hoped, but it was easy to apply, emulsified well with a bit of water, and rinsed off easily without leaving an oily feeling on my skin. It also has an absolutely lovely floral scent! I usually need to use moisturizer after any facial cleansers, to prevent my skin from feeling tight and dry, but to my surprise I was able to skip the moisturizer after using this product.

Removes makeup

Works great for removing makeup

I wasn't too sure what I was supposed to use this as when I first received it. So I used it as a makeup remover and it worked really well removing all the makeup from my eye area.

Just OK Cleansing Oil

I received this sample free to try in exchange for my honest review. I used the sample on dry skin to remove all my makeup and then added a bit of water to emulsify the oil into a creamy cleanser. This oil was very silky and did a great job removing my makeup before I went in with my 2nd cleanser. I liked the product well enough, but I did find it was too fragranced and it did irritate my eyes. If you don’t mind that, you will probably enjoy this oil. However, I think there are some very nice cleansing oils to be had for less money.

Great product

Love it! Gentle but deep cleaning. I always apply it then massage, I can see it slowly turn into a milky color, doesn’t even need face wash after this step.

Didn't like it

I guess I just don't like using oil on my face because I really didn't enjoy it at all. It felt greasy and I felt dirty afterwards. It's just not for me.

Great Cleansing Oil!

This is my first time trying a cleansing oil and I was amazed how well it works in removing makeup and clearing your skin. The formula ensures that your skin remains hydrated and moisturized. You really have to lather the cleanser to get clear skin, but a little goes a long way. The scent of this product is also very nice!

Difficult to rinse off

Cleansing oil sample packet wasn’t worth the extra water I had to use to rinse off. Sadly I’m kinda dissatisfied that we were sent these. (Review) Super small I can’t give a big review as I used it & I don’t have much for a longer sampling time. I’ll get two washes out of this. Super oily, skin feels greasy still after 6 hours from using it. Ran out of packed super fast spilled half of it on my counter.
