Sims 4 is like Sims 3 but no pets

We were a big fan of Sims 3, and so eagerly went out and bought Sims 4 when it was released. The biggest disappointment is the lack of pets in the game. We had the Pets expansion pack for Sims 3, so we were used to having a good assortment of pet options and pet missions. The lack of this in the new game is a big disappointment! I hope they will come out with an expansion pack for the 4th game so that we can get all the cool new features of the 4th game but also with our pets! Until then, we often have been going back to play Sims 3. For now, Sims 4 is sitting unused.
