A good pancake option

As a busy mom, I love anything quick and easy. This pancake mix was simple to make and cooked up fluffy. The taste was okay not super sweet on its own, so it definitely needs toppings. I do like that it feels more nutritious than traditional mixes. Definitely a solid pantry option.

Tried the pancake mix from Sixteen Grains and I’m genuinely loving it! The pancakes came out fluffy, soft and tasted so delicious. It’s really easy to prepare and perfect for a cozy breakfast moment. I also love that it feels like a wholesome option 🥞🫐

Taste good

This pancake is very easy to make and my little one had a fun time making it all by herself. It tastes good and moist. The only down side is that it's more brown than purple, and my girl was slightly disappointed with the colour.

We love pancakes so this was a lovely change from our regular recipe! The kids loved them and I’m happy to know that there are good ingredients in these so we can enjoy them while getting good food in their bellies.

Waffles

I got to try out this pancake mix over the weekend and it was really great and easy to use. I did have to use eggs, milk and vanilla syrup but outside of that, it was great. Texture wise - it was different as it's made with wheat flour. I used it to make fresh blueberry waffles. Going to try again this weekend to make pancakes.

Not what I expected

I envisioned the Sixteen Grains Purple Pancakes would be purple or blueish having blueberries as one of the ingredients but upon opening the package, I was surprised to see the mix looked like any other pancake mixes. Initially I was a little disappointed thinking these would be unique having “purple pancakes” on the label.

We made these pancakes as a family with our son helping crack the eggs, pour milk, melted butter and mix in the ingredients. He also wanted to throw in some chocolate chips to make the pancakes more fun and delicious.

Overall I’m happy about the ingredients being simple and clean and they tasted good. We really enjoyed them and would buy again.

Naturally sweet and kids favourite!

We absolutely loved trying this berry flavoured pancakes. We loved the natural sweet berry flavour - my kids enjoyed it the most and it became a family favourite instantly! I love that it was made in Canada as well.

Is very good and easy to use
