I've used for a couple months now. Had a slight leak each cycle after about 8 hours but usually during the first day when my period is the heaviest so will change sooner, after that no issues and get a full 12 hours. I've put in the night before knowing i would start during the night and it was great to not worry, did it start or didn't it start when i'd get up to pee and who wants to be caught short in the middle of the night? Overall, fairly reliable, i do use a panty liner just in case & it has caught the odd staining, but otherwise it's great. But it is an odd feeling when i'm in the drug store shopping to not go down the feminine aisle to see if my tampons are on sale, smh, i don't need any! LOL I had no probs with my tampons, loved the brand actually, i just wanted to try this as the idea of a cup has always interested me but i had never bothered to give it a try. Bought it from well.ca when it was on sale & a great price. Use the Diva Wash as well and i'm all set.

I love my diva cup. Switched over to cups almost a year ago and I will never use tampons again. The cup is much more comfortable, so much so that you forget you're on your period. And it's perfect for sleeping.

I initially bought this because I wanted to try a more natural approach to the lovely friend that is a females menstruation . First and foremost don't give up the first few times you're attempting to use it. The diva cup really needs a few attempts to find your groove. I tend not to use it on the first 2 days but that's more so because I don't have the time to remove and re insert because you need to dump more often. (During a heavier flow day) Honestly I love my diva. Not only is it a healthier option but I've saved a lot of money not buying pads or tampons.

Lots of friends use it so I decide to try it. It's ok. I love it for the night, I don't worry about leaks. But during the day running and chasing a toddler I found it didn't stay in place.

i love the idea of the diva cup and i know it works very well for most girls, but for me going out during the day with a diva cup can be quite uncomfortable and as i am quite small down there, their smallest size still is a fight to get in properly, but great idea and i know my friends that use it love it

It took me a long time to get around to trying this, primarily because I didn't want to spend $40 on something that I had no idea would work or feel comfortable. I'm definitely glad I did. Having the Diva Cup hasn't eliminated my use of other menstrual products, but it has substantially reduced how much I spend every few months.
Getting used to it and getting it positioned can be a steep learning curve. I think it took me a few months to feel like I finally got the hang of it and to stop worrying if it would leak. Clean up isn't pretty, but it's very easy. I have no problem doing it in a public stall, etc.
The one thing that sold me on it was when I went on a 8 hr rafting trip with it. There were no washrooms, and no dry sacks for personal belongings. Without something like this, I would have been in trouble, but I had zero issues even on one of my heaviest days.
I've seen other brands that have a longer 'tail' at the end or loop that might make removal a bit smoother, but it's still fairly straightforward.
My main issue with it is still the price - I had to replace mine due to user error and I was ticked that I was dropping another $40 on something that has no reason to be so pricey

I really wanted this product to work but after three cycles and numerous leaks, I couldn't take it anymore. I watched videos, reviews, pictures, all trying to figure out why it wouldn't work for me. It was awkward in a public washroom trying to clean it and myself. Maybe practice at home to see if it works for you before you wear it out.

I had been wanting to try The Diva Cup for a while now, but the expensive price tag always scared me away. What if I hated it? Could I afford to take that chance? Well... My only regret is not buying one sooner! The Diva Cup is a fantastic investment. I love the convenience of only having to change it twice a day and not worry about walking up in the middle of the night to change a tampon, or be super uncomfortable wearing a pad. It also is surprisingly a lot less messy then I figured it would be.

Honestly this is the best invention. I could never imagine going back to tampons or pads. A little TMI but if you have a heavy flow there can be some leakage, but for the most part it works perfectly - just the first day usually sucks for me, so I have to have back-up. But honestly, this is such a great product, that does save you money. $40 might seem expensive, but they can last up to 12 months. Love!

So I saw this and decided to buy it thinking it would save me money on pads/tampons...I'm back to pads. Let's just say taking this thing out was not pretty. I wouldn't ever wear this again. Its similar to a diaphragm which I've never used. So it was extremely awkward inserting and taking it out ( plus a bloody mess.. Gross!) Definitely not for me. It did work for leakage though... Just not my cup of tea.
