The Simpsons was really the first of its kind of adult cartoon show. It caught on quickly with the sort of humour that appeals to both children and adults. It's really interesting to see how the cartooning and voices etc change through out the seasons. I found it experienced a few seasons of really funny episodes and then hit a slump. I don't watch it all the time like I used too. I would watch again.

The Simpsons is a silly cartoon that has some adult humor and it's safe for the kids too.
Some of the story lines are just ridiculous and I am not a huge fan of all of the characters.
But it used to play right before Southpark so I am sure I have every episode.

I only liked this show up until maybe the early 2000s. I find this show just went over it's time and wasn't done so well imo after awhile it felt over done. I grew up with this show and owned a ton of merchandise from the simpsons. I was a fan as a kid but pretty much grew out of it. It's alright for family.

The Simpsons is most definitely a classic animated TV series. My husband and I recently started watching it again on our Android TV and we've covered 20 seasons so far I think. After watching it back to back like this, you really notice the type of humor getting a little more crude. But I suppose it has to in order to keep up with the times. It's still infinitely better than Family Guy and their horrible comedy and run on jokes that seem like they'll never end. And the animation definitely got a lot better once they went digital. It was still a good show though.

In a series that's been going as long as The Simpsons has, there's bound to be some crappy episodes. And this show doesn't let you down for that. But the good episodes still thankfully outweigh the bad. I definitely recommend watching The Simpsons.
