They work fine, but offer almost no support

I’m sadly disappointed. I thought I’d love this product, I’m the person you see jamming three a pillow into a ‘firm’ shape on the side of the plane next to the window, so I thought these would be perfect for road trips.

But the thing is, the pillow doesn’t stick out far enough. I have a medium sized head (honest!) and they barely come to mid-ear. If you like to lean your head at a diagonal backwards angle (almost like tipping it back, but slightly sideways) there’s enough to get a bit of support. However, if you were planning to lean sideways, there’s barely any support there at all. Maybe it depends on the angle or how far back your headrests sit? I don’t know. But all the pictures are photoshopped and show a lot more pillow/support, where it comes forward to almost the temple. That was not my experience.

It’s a shame, as everything else worked fine for me. They were easy to install, sat well and I really loved that you can adjust them up and down, especially to put them away when not using. However, as they are barely touching my head, they don’t really offer any kind of ‘pillow or cushion’ like experience, so I’m struggling to see the point.
