The Aqualia Awakening Eye Balm was good for hydration, however it did not seem any better then others I have tried over the years and in addition I did not notice a reduction in puffiness. It did not deliver as well as the serum did. I do not think I would repurchase. I found it to be average. However, I would repurchase the serum and cream from the Aqualia line and substitute another eye cream. If you are looking for a hydration balm, I would recommend it, but it did not fully deliver on its target of reducing puffiness.
I was sent this wonderful Aqualia trio by Vichy to test and review. The Aqualia Thermal Power Serum, Aqualia Awakening Eye Balm as well as the Aqualia Thermal Light Cream. As a thirty something mom of three (who still does not sleep full nights) I am always looking for great skin care products that do not require a high maintenance schedule. This trio with some slight modifications was a quick, simple, no fuss routine that addressed most of my skin concerns. My skin profile would be normal to combination and I was looking to address hydration and some first signs of ageing. I carefully looked over all the information and recommendations for each product and followed the full regiment for four weeks. After the first week I made a slight modification as my skin was feeling greasy after using both the serum and cream in both the am and pm so I modified my regiment to use the serum in the morning and the cream in the evening as using both in the am and the pm was took much for me. I thought that would do the trick and it was ok for a couple days however by the third week I stopped using the cream in the pm as well as my skin was fully hydrated with just the serum and accompanying eye balm alone. I was very impressed. While I know the cream is meant to be used daily I would actually use it as an accompanying treatment every couple days which is what I did in week four and I have found the perfect balance for my skin. I have always loved Vichy products and their Aqualia line is no exception and the serum is by far a new favourite for me. I would definitely repurchase the serum for daily use. I LOVE the silky smooth texture of this serum. It is one of the best I have every tried. It melted into my skin and left it hydrated all day with no greasy residue. #vichyworksforme
I've been using this diligently morning and night, hoping it would help alleviate my under eye bags. Though it didn't do anything for the bags, it helped depuff my eyes in the morning so that's a plus. If you're younger and need some light hydration and depuffing for your under eyes, then this is perfect for you. But since I'm 27 I think I'll be investing in an eye serum targeted more towards dark circles and fine lines.
Love Vichy. I was loyal to one skincare brand for a very long time but Vichy has changed my mind. I'm loving their products. This eye cream is light and smells fresh. It keeps my skin hydrated and supple. I'm 28 so I'm starting to worry about fine lines around my eyes. The best way to combat early signs of aging is to make sure that my eyes are taken care of and hydrated. I use this cream day and night. Totally recommend especially for dry skinned people!!! It might be more pricey than drugstore brands but it's worth every penny!!
Vichy Aqualia Thermal Awakening Eye Balm is such a powerful eye balm! My eyes are no longer puffy and I have seen a big difference in the dark circles under my eyes!
This is a great balm for tired eyes after a long day or waking up early in the morning. You need to give it a couple of weeks of regular use before noticing the the under eye bags are reduced.
As much as i have loved the Vichy line so far, this one was a fail for me. I really don't feel that any sort of eye balm ever works on me since I've been blessed with my moms bags (thanks mom). All in all, the product applied nicely but I didn't notice any difference.
I received the product free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. The Vichy Aqualia Thermal Awakening Eye Balm is very lightweight and refreshing. A little product goes a very long way. I find that one pump is enough for both eyes. It is more of a gel consistency which I prefer over creams. Some of the eye creams I've used in the past were too moisturizing and blocked my pores, causing little white bumps under my eyes. This eye balm is the perfect balance of moisturizing and refreshing! I would likely purchase it in the future and I would definitely recommend it to friends!

I really enjoyed using this eye balm and was so glad I got to test it out since my undereye area is usually very dry. This makes applying makeup to the area a challenge since it tends to cake up and show the dry patches. I find the eye balm really helped in keeping the delicate skin hydrated and with the added help of a primer, which I applied over it, I found my concealer would glide on more easily. The cool, lightweight, gel consistency of the balm felt pleasant and refreshing. I would tap it on gently and it absorbed well into the skin. This product is going to last you a very long time because you really don't need much in order to do the job, therefore, although the price is pretty high end, you'll get your money's worth. In terms of undereye dark circles and bags, I did notice a difference. The circles are less obvious and this has had me wearing less concealer (which is a good thing, especially in this summer heat!) and the hollow bags also seem to be subsiding. I even got compliments this week that I looked well rested, even though my sleeping pattern hasn't changed. The only thing I've added to my eye routine is this product. I will certainly continue to use this eye balm and I have a feeling it could even replace my usual eye products. I love it that much!
I received this product free from Chick Advisor to try. I'm a busy mom of 3 and often don't get enough sleep = dark circles under my eyes. This stuff goes on light, smooth and definitely lightens the circles! I absolutely love this product!!
The Vichy Aqualia Awakening Eye Balm was sent to me by the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Like the other products in this line, this product is supposed to be hydrating and it is just that. This balm is lightweight, which is perfect for the under eye area. Some of my other moisturizers can be too thick/heavy for my eyes. It's very cooling on the skin when you first put it on. I have sensitive skin and it did not irritate my skin at all. The eye balm does have a pleasant scent to it, however it does not last all that long. This product retails for about $36 for 15ml so it is a little pricey for the amount that you get but it should last you awhile as a little bit of product does go a long way. If you are going to put this on under your makeup, just wait a few minutes for the product to set into the skin and then wear a primer so that there is something between the balm and your foundation. Overall, I would recommend this to someone who is looking for a lightweight eye balm that will hydrate their skin.
