Decent mop.

A decent mop for the price, the fact that you can use whatever cleaner you want is a bonus (FYI: the Vileda one smells so nice!). The cons: it does leak sometimes when you are mopping, you can’t really scrub the tough spots because it “dips” in the middle and may scratch the floor. I prefer the older style.

Great for quick clean ups

Great for a quick clean up but not for an entire house if you have pets. Even after sweeping prior to use..all pet hair is gathered. I like that it is easy to use and store. Very handy to have!!

Pass

I have bought this product less than a month ago and I wished I had kept the receipt. It wasn't really effective when using it and unfortunately it snapped in the middle. It was cheaply made and I suggest trying a different brand.

Not so great if you have pets

Really not the best cleaning device if you have pets or long hair. For the price you pay for it, it always comes full of fur when trying to wash the floors even if you broomed beforehand.

Floors still dirty

I found this product does not clean properly. It still leaves my floor streaky. I cannot bump into the wall to get the edges or the mop part will fall off.

It is not bad

I live in a very dusty area as I have a lot of dirt roads around me, so in the summer when the windows and doors are open I get a lot of dirt/dust. I find this mop is good for the quick clean.. but not a deep clean.
If you need to wash all your floors and they are pretty dirty from mud or whatever else than don't use this. The cleaning pad gets full of dirt very quickly and it's not so good to use to scrub. I use this only when I have my kitchen to mop up something quickly or a quick wipe in the living room. I suppose you could buy a bunch of refill mop pads but I'd go through about ten just to finish my house properly. So great for a quick clean, but sucks for everything else. It is time saving if you just need a little clean cause then you don't have to bust out the mop and bucket.

The spray mist is a disappointment to me,

I was so excited that I would have the spray bottle attached to the pole. I bought this product only to find that after several months the spray bottle no longer functioned. I went and bought the new one Vileda that came out where you can use both sides only to have the same problem.
After a few months the bottle no longer sprayed. I have to use a separate spray bottle to spray the floor first and then wipe it clean with my Vileda.
I am not impressed with this product.

I liked the Vileda ProMist Max Spray Mop, but I didn’t love it. It’s easy to fill the reservoir, it’s also good that you can use your cleaning solution of choice, that and the fact that it come with a reusable cleaning pad, are all great money saving advantages of the Vileda ProMist Max Spray Mop. Unfortunately, although great at cleaning, this mop presents a few problems: the mop head detaches itself if you swivel it a certain way, which is annoying as it cuts into the time saving aspect if this mop; it only comes with one mop pad, if you want to do the whole house, you have either wait for the laundry to be done or go buy some extras. My husband loved it, of course he doesn’t use it a lot, nor does he do the laundry! My young daughter found it on the heavy side when the reservoir is full (she loves helping, bless her heart). I liked the Vileda ProMist Max Spray Mop, I would recommend it especially if the detaching mop head problem is resolved and if it comes with extra mop heads.

Good for little jobs

I bought this after seeing it advertised here on CA. I would say that it is an okay mop for little jobs. I use it nightly in the kitchen. It would not be good for a big clean up, i call it my maintenance mop.

Vileda promist max spray mop

Family rated sent this to me to try for free. I really like it for quick clean ups. I found it a little trying when doing a straight hallway since the mop head swivels quite a bit. However it was great to get under furniture too since its a long slender head. Also my 14 year old daughter loves it and started moping the floor on her for that reason alone I would recommend it.
