Awesome Experience!

Using the Voilà by Sobeys grocery delivery service was one of the EASIEST online shopping experiences I have has this year! I enjoyed that many of the specialty items I was looking for were available for delivery (such as my favourite olives and tea). Additionally, the ease of the website and the intuitive navigation, made it simple to shop- even for a beginner like me (who has never ordered groceries online before).

I loved that the available drop off timeslots were immediate and the communication from the driver was amazing too. He called in advance to say he was on his way and then greeted me distantly when he arrived for a contactless dropoff. He was warm and friendly and didn’t accept my tip- but suggested I donate to charity.

I was overall SO impressed with the Voilà service and will be telling all of my friends and family about it. I will absolutely be using this service again in the very near future!

Great Grocery Delivery Service!

I had a discount to use towards trying Sobeys new Viola grocery delivery service. The entire service I received could not have been better!
I ordered my products and was able to pick a one hour window for delivery the next day.
The driver called me when he was about 40 minutes away letting me know he was on his way.
He got here at the beginning of the delivery hour, called to let me know he was here and then spent a few minutes getting my order out to bring to the house.
I recieved everything I ordered. The driver was exceptional and took the time to explain how it all works, and answered some questions I had as I am interested in this service for my elderly mother as well. Kudos to Marvin for such great customer service.
He explained how temperature checks are done 3 times, including once when he gets here. Everything was fresh, cold items packed together and frozen items all still frozen. I would definitely use this service again!

Amazing service!

I had never done grocery delivery before so this was a first time experience for me. The Voila site was easy to use/navigate and immediately told you what was in/not in stock. I liked that you were able to choose your delivery window by the hour so you aren’t sitting at home waiting for hours for them to come. The delivery people called me ten minutes before they arrived which I appreciated. The delivery people were very Covid safe, Wearing masks/gloves and took precaution when leaving the groceries at our door. What was cool was that they had labelled bags for refrigerated vs pantry. They also have a policy where they let you check your groceries and will immediately refund if you are not satisfied. Ivy and Elias were very friendly and enthusiastic, great service! Overall I would do this again. Saves time and sets expectations on what groceries you can and cannot get so you can plan accordingly!

Voila sobeys delivery

Voila by Sobeys- with all of the fresh foods deliveries I would say this one definitely delivers super fresh foods. I have no complaints about what the food looked like when it was delivered. The site is easy to use, I like that that’s a sale section so you can view all the items that are on sale at Sobeys. I must say Sobeys is much pricier then other grocery stores I shop at usually.
I would recommend Voila to friends as this was a great experience. I love how they bring the groceries to your door and on time. I would order again! I was given a promo code for testing out this service.

Voila! Easy Groceries!

Yes, this is another online grocery shopping service, but it is definitely one that has stepped up its game! I got to test out this service by receiving a discount for the Product Review Club, and I’m so happy I was chosen. I am so impressed with Voila! By Sobeys. It is super simple to go through the site and add items to your shopping cart. For the most part, everything I wanted was in stock - just an item here or there was out. If you want to make sure you for sure get everything you need, I would say to place your order right away at the start of every new flyer week. It shows you what is on sale that week and it is easy to add multiples of items and search for what you want. Payment is simple and easy and I loved that you also have access to items from Farm Boy and Well.ca!

Picking a delivery date and time is also super easy. You have one hour time blocks to pick from, which is awesome. The best part, especially right now with COVID, is that everything You ordered gets packed into their bags and bins by robots. The only human interaction is when it goes from delivery person to your door. The groceries are packaged together nicely too and not overloaded - Fruits & veggies together, dairy, etc. Also, all the food selected was nice and fresh, especially my fruit - I am super picky about that!

The driver/delivery person was super friendly and they call you about 10 mins away from your home to let you know they’re on their way. They call again when outside your door. The first time I ordered, I missed both calls (they also leave voicemails!) and the driver also rang my doorbell, so don’t worry if you miss their call!

I loved my experience so much that I ordered a second time! This will definitely be my go to online grocery shopping site whenever I need it from now on!

Amazing experience

I was one of the lucky participants to receive a $25 off coupon in a $100 purchase at Voila from Chickadvisor.
The website was easy to browse and find the items I was looking for.
For delivery lots of slots were available, thankfully.
I wonder if there’s going to be a capability to use vendor coupons. It would be nice if Sobeys themselves also offer coupons.
On the day of delivery, I got a courtesy text from by the delivery person of arrival time as well as the other protocols, such as ensuring my grocery gets to me in good condition as well as everything is in tact.
The delivery was on time & the delivery person was courteous.
The only thing about the whole experience was, that I was wondering if $8 is something I would want to pay everytime I’ve groceries delivered, especially when I have a Sobey by my house.
I understand it saves the hassle of getting out in such times when we have a virus around, so with that thought - maybe using this service perhaps once a month to get all your major groceries done and have delivered, it justifies but not every week.

Overall I am really satisfied and happy with this experience and my groceries were good.
I recommend giving it a try for sure.

Voila by Sobeys Really is Magic!

I had the opportunity to experience and review the new grocery shopping and delivery online service from Sobeys called Voila as a selected participant by ChickAdvisor. I was given a generous two week window to order my groceries using Voila. I was also provided an amazing incentive of a $25 voucher code to be applied to my purchase of $100 or over compliments of ChickAdvisor.

Upon ordering my groceries on Voila, I found the website to be appealing with the use of bright colours and all tabs were clearly labelled and navigable. The service is simple to use and groceries are categorized plus you can search for specific brands or items with the search tool. Once you add an item to your cart, it displays the price and keeps adding the cost of each item you choose to show your total which I find quite convenient. I found the general pricing to be affordable with many staple products on special. Before checking out, I was required to create a Voila account for registration purposes. After completing my order and reaching checkout, I found out that I could choose my delivery day and time which was certainly serviceable. I was able to apply my $25 voucher code with ease provided by ChickAdvisor before payment. The online service even informed me before payment that a particular product was no longer available on their website so I could select something else. After payment was completed and my order was successfully processed, I received an email confirmation from Voila outlining my purchase details.

On the day of my delivery, I had requested my groceries to be delivered in the morning to ensure freshness and ample time to put away the items, especially refrigerated and freezer products. I received an email in the early morning informing me that my delivery would be coming in that day. I also received a phone call from which a voicemail message was left letting me know that the delivery was on its way which I thought was a very professional touch. The Voila delivery truck even arrived slightly ahead of schedule. The delivery person was very polite and friendly and brought the groceries in bags straight to my door. I immediately noticed that they had taken the time to sort the groceries into bags by category (i.e. produce was in one bag, frozen food in one bag, etc.)

I would highly recommend Voila by Sobeys to both family and friends. The entire experience in both ordering groceries online and having them delivered to my door was excellent. The value for money when purchasing items is fairly reasonable, notably when purchasing sale items. My family was very pleased with the items we received and found the service very efficient. I am glad to have learned about this service through ChickAdvisor as a great alternative to shopping at grocery stores and would definitely love to use this service again :)

Will definitely reorder again!

First and foremost, thank you to CA and Sobeys for offering this deal as this acted as the gateway between myself and online grocery. To preface, I did not order any fresh produce or meat so I cannot judge for those products. I really appreciated the driver left me a voicemail letting me know how far away he was (I didn't pick up because there was no caller ID and I did not want to risk spam calls). I went out to do a quick errand and the driver was blocking my driveway. I asked for him to just quickly unload so he could just drop off and go but he insisted on moving the truck so I could park so A++ on that! All the products I got came at an appropriate temperature; frozen foods/refridgerated foods all came cold. He did not overload the grocery bags even though they were pretty big which I'm sure somebody who may have some sort of impairment would appreciate. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and will continue to use as I do not have a Sobeys near me.

Pretty good

I received a coupon code free from chickadvisor. I ordered online from the sobeys website and it was an easy, straightforward process to getting started, choosing items, selecting a delivery date and paying. I liked the service, I will be shopping it again. My one issue was when i got the items, they chose items that were really close to expiring and i had to throw out about 3 things which is disappointing and wasteful.

Very Convenient

The use of grocery delivery services have increased during the pandemic, but I had never tried it until now. When I received a discount of $25 for purchases of $100+ from Chickadvisor in exchange of trying out the new delivery service, Viola by Sobeys, I jumped at the chance to try it out on a busy weekend.

The overall process of buying the groceries was very simple. Once I made an account online, I could see all the items I could buy with a simple click. Items were all categorized and can be filtered and searched, which made shopping very organized and easy. I could easily add or delete an item from my cart if I changed my mind, and I could also easily see the total spend at the top right corner without having to do any math. Booking a delivery slot was also easy, although the availability was a little scarce. There was a little hiccup when trying to enter my address for the delivery, as it kept incorrectly changing my unit number. This was a little frustrating, but there was a box that allowed you to include special delivery instructions, so I was able to note the correct address.

The actual delivery process was very smooth. I received a call about 15min prior to the actual delivery, where Sobeys checked in with me to let me know they are coming. They also confirmed the special delivery instructions and clarified that it was a contactless delivery during this time. Once they arrived, I saw that all the items were nicely packed in bags and on my porch. I was told all the groceries were temperature checked and any substitutions were explained - which there was none for me.

Overall, this whole experience was very positive despite the scarce delivery slots and the address issue. It really saved time from having to physically go into the store, find various items, line up and come back home. I would definitely consider it again when I have a packed weekend planned.
