Fantastic service

I was offered a $25 voucher from Chick Advisor to try Sobey's new home delivery service Voila. I loved it so much I used the service again a week or so later. The shopping is a breeze with pictures of each item. Just click and it's added to your list. What's even better is the fact that there are lots of items on sale! Delivery can be as soon as next day with options to edit your list right up until the night before. Lots of one hour time slots to choose from for convenience. They usually arrived within 10 minutes of my time frame and called me when they were 5 minutes away from my house. The delivery people on both occasions were super friendly and even temperature checked my goods before bringing them to my door. They asked me to check if my bread was fresh enough to my standards which it was. The groceries were brought right to my front door step with contactless delivery. All the produce was perfect, frozen goods still frozen and bakery items fresh. I have recommended this service to friends and family. I would definitely continue using.

I received a discount as part of a Product Review Club offer, however my opinion is my own.

The website is great and user friendly. I love that there's a separate tab for SALE items as I often like to find deals. What's also great is that delivery can be scheduled for the next day and that's been very difficult to find with other online grocery options (even for curbside pickup). As it was my first order, the delivery men stopped by my front door and made sure to explain to me that refrigerated items are placed in plastic bags that have green handles. That was a nice touch! I love that all items come from a warehouse and not independent stores. My produce was fresh and of great quality, even strawberries. I always have a tough time finding fresh, nice looking strawberries and was nervous to order online but was pleasantly surprised. I'd like to see more variety with certain items (e.g. tomatoes) and perhaps deals with shipping (i.e. reduced shipping rate if one orders a certain amount), otherwise impressed!

I loved the service I would use it again very friendly and helpful staff and loved that they call you to tell you your order is ready . They left it where I asked them to the products very fresh the bags are so cute . Fast customer service

I would use this service again

I was fortunate enough to be selected to try out Voila, the delivery service from Sobeys. I found navigating the site was easy, and they let you know if any items you put in the cart are not available on your selected delivery day and time - for me it was bananas.

I did find they didnt carry certain items that may be available in store, for me it was some frozen chicken that my children love to eat.

The prices are similar to other grocery delivery platforms.

The delivery guy called to let me know he was on his way with my order, and he was very friendly and courteous on arrival.

The items I ordered seemed to be quite fresh.

I received a coupon code from @chickadvisor to try @voilabysobeys. I placed my order through #voilabysobeys Website it was the easiest thing to do!! I went through my shopping list, placed my items in the virtual buggy amazing. Some items were even on sale!!
Next step, pick my delivery time slot!! And that’s it!! I ordered a mix of items! Cases of water and pop, cereal boxes and fruits and vegetables! I received an email letting me know that my order had been prepared. I even received a phone call from the driver, letting me know that they were 10 minutes away!! The driver placed all the bags on the front porch and then rang the bell the driver also let me know, which bags needed to be refrigerated, the ones with the GREEN handles!!
All in all a great experience! Definitely doing that again

Quick & Convenient, but High Delivery Fee

I just tried Voila grocery delivery service for the first time and overall I'm unfortunately not super impressed.
The website itself is easy to use, however I did run into a few issues. Firstly, once I made up my order and went to checkout, 1/4 of the items I added were not in stock and so they were removed from my cart. Other grocery delivery service websites will usually suggest alternatives (such as a different brand of the same product in a similar price range). Voila did not offer any substitutions. Secondly, after I had placed the order it gives you the option to add/change your order up until the evening before delivery. I actually made use of this as there were a few items I forgot to add originally. I triple-checked that my additional items were added to my order, however once I received a shipping notification email the morning I was to receive my delivery, it was for the original order without all the extra items I added. So now I have to make a trip to the grocery store that I was trying to avoid. Finally, upon delivery they used a large amount of plastic grocery bags (way more than necessary). I try to avoid using plastic bags (and will reuse them if I do have them), however a suggestion may be to switch to paper bags or even just add more items to each bag to cut down on the amount used. The delivery fee is also much higher than similar grocery delivery services ($7.99 CAD)
Other than these issues, the order process was simple and the food appears fresh. I like that the order windows are only an hour, so you have a very good idea of when to expect your groceries. Mine arrived exactly at the beginning of the hour I selected and I received a phone call from the driver prior to arrival.

Grocery delivery done right!

Although I find Sobeys to be on the higher end price wise, I've been trying grocery delivery services for awhile now, & I will say #VoilabySobeys! has really thought it out!
The online shop was easy; what I loved was if they didn't have an item, it was an instant alert, so you could choose your own substitution immediately.
The delivery window is one hour, they were on time, friendly & courteous!

Great online shopping

The voila website was easy to navigate and to set up my profile. Groceries that weren't avaliable were shown as not available, making it easy to choose an alternate . It was easy to order, set up a delivery time and check out.
15 min before delivery,I received a call confirming their arrival. Two ladies arrived in the refrigerated truck and all my groceries were delivered to the front door (contactless) I was asked to check to ensure all the products were there and not damaged in transport.. All items were in perfect condition (including Tortilla chips which always seem to be crushed when I get mine home) The delivery person acknowledged my order was accurate and that I was happy with the order contents (all frozen stuff was frozen and refrigerated stuff was chilled!!!) She also explained that if I return all the bags at my next order, they can be recycled and a credit applied per bag...great plus.
I'm really happy with the great service!

Sobey’s Makes a Lasting Impression

The website for Voila by Sobey’s was easy to navigate and to find the items I was looking for. There were some great sales I took advantage of and they have the Compliments store brand that offers competitive pricing. I spent about 110$ on my order and everything I ordered was delivered. No substitutions, nothing missing. The delivery driver called 10 mins prior to his arrival and again when he was in front of my building. They want to make sure you are home to receive your groceries, which is nice. The driver asked if I had used the service before and took the time to explain how to contact customer service if there were any issues, or he could help me on the spot if I had any issues. He also explained they do a temperature check of the cold and frozen items to ensure they follow health Canada guidelines for food storage. The groceries were well bagged and categorized by refrigerated/frozen and pantry items. The driver explained green handled bags have my cold products. The customer service is excellent and I feel like using the service directly attached to the store itself has the advantage of being more personal. It seems that delivery drivers are a key part of the team in building the relationship with the customer. I think it’s a very good effort on Sobey’s part as they are now entering this ever growing market of grocery delivery services.

I received a discount as part of a product review club.
I was happy to see Sobeys also offering grocery delivery- like their other counterparts. I was afraid it would be much more costly than their regular store prices, but it was not. In fact, i even got some great deals!

Ordering was an ease, found it very user friendly and was able to find everything I was looking for.

The best part? They dis not substitute anything from my order!

The delivery was a pleasant experience. Driver was on time and friendly.

Would recommend and use this service again.
