Brilliant piece of historical fiction!

This book is a wonderful adventure. A well written tale of nurses and their journey to and through WWII. Soraya created characters that I fell in love with...that I'm a little sad to leave at the of the novel. There were times when i felt the tears hot on my cheeks experiencing the pain and horrors of war right along with these brave women nurses. What a lovely tribute to the men and women who fought and those who took care of our men and brought so many of them home safely.
Reas this book and be swept away.
