Good not great

The new mascara from YSL was good but not great. The packing was standard while the tube itself was quite nice. It's sleek with the blue on black and it's a big size. The formula could use some improvement. It adds a lot of colour and does give volume but I find it also clumps my lashes. Had to use a seperate wand to swipe excess and get my lashes spread out. Overall not a bad pick but I've used way cheaper brands with better results. I would be interested to see if the non waterproof version had the same issues.

Great waterproof Mascara

When I received this product from Butterly to review for free I was excited as I was desperate for decent mascara. Yves Saint Laurent did not disappoint. The packaging was cure and trendy. It went on with few clumps and I even splashed water in my face and there was no running or smearing. I had kinda hoped it would smell nicer then most mascaras but nothing can be perfect. Totally would purchase this product again.

48 hours is no exaggeration

This mascara gives the appearance of WAY more lash than I actually have, so mission accomplished. I have to say that it was a whole process to remove at the end of the day, so the 48 hour long wear is not an exaggeration. It didn’t rub or smudge and leave me looking like a raccoon like so many other waterproof mascaras do when trying to remove, so this is a total win for me! I will be looking to get it in brown, as I don’t typically wear a lot of black mascara but I’ll definitely reach for this one when I’m going full glam!

Waterproof is an understatement

I have long lashes, but they are blonde so you can’t see them. If I was playing desert island and someone asked me what my one makeup item would be, I would say mascara. It is what I wear every single day and what makes me feel confident.

Normally, I am not a huge fan of large brushes on mascara wands because there is more risk of getting it on my face, but this one is super efficient. One end narrowed in so it is easier to get the inner corners and bottom lashes. It coats very quickly and quite evenly, it is very black so results are instantaneous.

Side note: you better have a good makeup remover because this stuff is true to it being ‘sauna proof’. Once you got it on, it is not budging. This mascara would definitely be great for long wear, as it says up to 48 hours or getting wet because water does not easily take it off.

I noticed one of the first ingredients is beeswax. Since beeswax is hydrophobic, explains how this mascara is so good at repelling water. But it also explains the price too!

I did notice a little fallout later in the day as the lashes were dry and little flecks can fall off, but this goes for any mascara in my opinion. Just a quick look and brush it away.

I should also mention that I used a YSL mascara long ago and I was obsessed with it, so I knew this mascara was going to be good too!

So much volume!

This mascara is amazing !!!! The volume it brings to my lashes is insane .. it lengthens and doesn’t make the lashes look clumpy at all.
I also really like the shape of the wand. 10/10

LASH CLASH WATERPROOF MASCARA

As someone who's tried the YSL Lashclash Mascara waterproof, I have to say it's truly impressive. From the moment I applied it, I noticed how effortlessly it coated each lash, giving them instant length, volume, and curl without any clumping. Throughout the day, my lashes stayed perfectly lifted and defined, and I didn't have to worry about any smudging or flaking, thanks to its waterproof formula.

For voluminous and no clumps lashes

If you’re looking for a mascara to transform your lashes to full volume with no lumps then look no more. I loved how easy it was to apply and the wand applicator works well. It gave my lashes good definition and stayed through the day. It didn’t clump my lashes and still I had volume and lengthy lashes. I didn’t like the smell of the product while applying but you don’t feel it after you put it on.

Great waterproof mascara

This is such a beautiful mascara! You can really build it up thanks to the oversized brush and there are no clumps, no raccoon eyes, and most importantly- no streaks from tears! It's heat-proof, smudge-proof, waterproof and lasts up to 48 hours.
