Ball Blue Book of Preserving ... WOW !!! this sounds like great book to have .. preserving jams and jellies .. I do lots of jams every year .. i look forward to August coming .. So i can go off in woods and pick my berries for my jams for winter.. something i've done for 25 years now ...patridge berries , marsh berries . bakeapples ..cranberries , raspberries and blueberries ..newfie tradition .haha
This is one of my go to books for making my home made jams and jellies. My late Grandmother use to can everything and it was so delicious! I've learnt to make strawberry jam and jelly, grape jelly, muscidine jelly, blackberry jam and a few others a few years ago. It was mind boggling at 1st trying to learn about Sure-Jell and water canning baths etc. I think I made over 200 jars that year. This is an awesome book for about $20.
