This kit, is amazing. It's everything you need all compact and in one place. It makes my morning makeup ritual a speedy one!
I love all the products that it contains. The brushes are of a very high-end quality.
The "That Gal" Brightening Face Primer - is a primer that is non-greasy, so I don't feel like it's slathered on. It's very light weight.
Boi-ing (01, 02) Industrial Strength Concealer in 2 shades for custom concealing is the perfect way to mix for the shade you need. It's seriously what it says it is 'industrial strength'. I can put it on first thing in the morning, and then by 9pm, I'm still going strong!
The Erase Paste (no. 2 medium) brightening camouflage for eyes and face - is a perfect way to brighten up your face and hide imperfections.
Lemon Aid Color Correcting Eyelid Primer is a perfect primer so that your eyeshadow never fades, and totally stays in place. I love it. There's no dusting on the sides of my eyes like I get without it.
Eye Bright Instant Eye Brightener is amazing, just a little dab in the corners of your eyes, and it's amazing how it makes your eyes pop. I love it so much I bought the Eye Bright Instant Eye Brightener Pencil!!
I wouldn't have known where to begin if it wasn't for the super easy to use Step-by-step lesson guide that comes with the product.
I'm a sucker for packaging and this is so adorably packaged, that I love that everything is all in one place.
I've always been on the hunt for a good concealer & I've tried many & I've never been 100% satisfied with them. The main reason I use concealer is because I have dark under eye circles & it's difficult to find a product that completely covers them. I found Confessions of a Concealaholic at Ulta & I decided to try it. I really like that it comes with a few different products. I especially like the Erase Paste & Lemon Aid. The Eye Brightener & Boing concealer are good too, but the Brightening Face Primer I could take or leave. I just don't think it really does anything. I use all of the products together to brighten up my eye area & I think it works pretty well. It doesn't cover my dark circles 100% but so far it's been the best product I've used for them.
When I was at sephora looking for concealer I was so confused as there was so many different kinds. My friend's recommended Benefit and when I saw how much you get in one kit for only $50 and how much each individual item was by itself ($20 - $40) I was sold.
I especially love that you get to blend the 2 concealer colours to make a colour unique to your face tone. I also love that I get to try the skin brightener/primer as I have been hearing that primers are the way to go for long lasting makeup. I have not been so stoked on a concealer ever. Benefit really has quality makeup and to have all these products & the brushes is a pretty amazing deal.
The only thing I would change is the product doesn't all have small packaging that you could slip into your purse... if they all came in small pop out packaging like the erase paste it would be even more mind blowing. I also think that they should have used something else for the outer case that keeps the diary closed, as I was in a rush one day and ripped it :( Overall, the product and price of this is really great, I highly recommend it.
I was mega excited when I saw Ali's reviews and the timing was perfect... it just came out days before my sisters birthday. Since she always uses my Erase Paste and make-up, this was the perfect gift for her and the perfect oportunity for me to try out the kit (hey, sisters share right?).
I was put off by the tiny winy sample like products. I love the fact that it includes everything for a flawless face but they could have been a bit more generous with the quantity. It looks really like a sample pack, an overpriced one. And I did not like that it only had the medium shade of the erase paste, leaving me with no other option.
Other than that, it's very very practical.I got a chance to try a few thing I never had, and of course I love them. You really do have everything in there to conceal EVERYTHING! It's a great oportunity to try out different products without dishing out the big bucks for a full size product that you haven't tried yet.
My favourite: The erase paste ,which in my opinon is the best concealer ever!
very worth it
This little kit with everything you could possibly need to cover up every imperfection makes me very happy. First, let's talk about the packaging. It looks like a diary, has a mirror inside the cover for portability and a cheeky little insert with tips on product usage and how to tell if you are a 'concealaholic'.
Benefit packaging always makes me smile. It's a big part of the fun of using the products. Inside, there is "That Gal" brightening face primer, Erase Paste, two shades of Boi-ing, Eye Bright, Lemon Aid and two handy dandy dual sided application brushes.
I find it very convenient that all of the products are together in one place along with the brushes and I'm really enjoying using some of the ones I haven't tried before. I'm already a big fan of Erase Paste and Boi-ing, but now am also loving Lemon Aid - a primer for eyelids that can also be worn alone; and Eye Bright - a quick fix for the darker areas in the inner corners of the eye area. It's all the fundamentals you need for flawless looking skin.
I got this as an advance PR sample, but it's something I will definitely buy again when it runs out. It's also a fun gift idea or ideal companion for Benefit's Celebutante Personal Stylist Kit.
