After running out of all my night creams, I wanted to try something cheap that would moisturize and soften my chronically dry skin. Nivea Creme works great as a spot treatment.

The cream itself is quite thick. It definitely reminds me of cream cheese. Using my fingers to "spread" this product all over my face seemed like a bad idea; I didn't want to overdo it. If you dab the cream in spots on the really dry areas of your face, you should be pleased with the results.

I have super dry skin, and our house is also dry, so i need something that can really moisturize my skin. when i was little, my aunt used to let me use her nivea lotion, i thought it was so special and nice smelling. so, i heard that nivea creme was good, and i tried it. it is really thick, but it's not lotion, its cream, so that's to be expected. it lasts longer than you would expect. i put it on my arms and legs especially, usually after a shower and sometimes before bed. when i forget, i feel the itchiness, and i dont get that when i remember to use it, so it's definitely working. i dont think its too greasy, it leaves my legs feeling nice and smooth. i would absolutely recommend this, especially since you can get it right in your drugstore, so it's easy and cheap, but works!

I am a HUGE fan of Nivea products and this is one of my favourites! Its a thick heavy cream (a lot like body butter) so I don't use it on my whole body ... I simply apply it to my feet and hands, after a shower and before I go to bed, and it makes them baby soft. Obviously being a cream it is very heavy and slightly greasy (like others have mentioned) but I find if you use it only at night, it does the job and you don't have to worry about being a butter fingers all day.

I use to use this cream when I was little. I totally agree it was a chore to put on everyday. Recommend trying something else.

One of my friend's recommended this creme to me, since I tend to get very dry skin, especially in the winter.

My first problem with this was the thickness of this cream. I'm not a fan of very runny lotions, and do look for creams that are a bit thick, unfortunately with the Nivea Creme, it was beyond thick. I found that when applying it, it was hard to rub in to my skin, as well in order to moisturize my entire hand I had to apply more of the lotion in different spots, as it did not spread very well.

Secondly, I found that it left my hands a tad bit greasy, in the places I did manage to apply the creme. As I work in an office, this is nuisance for me, as I find my keyboard and mouse with spots of grease on them after using the lotion. I also somewhat assume that these grease spots are my lotion wearing away, because it does not last long. I find that before long my hands are once more dry.

My last complaint about this lotion isn't too big of a deal, I'm just not a fan of the scent. It's a very light perfume/baby powder scent. It's not that strong...just not one I really like. I guess with scent though, that's subjective.

Thankfully I bought a small trial size of this for about $2, before spending more money on something larger.
