This is a great reading material if you are health conscientious and would like to steer in a right direction. I did not use everything off the magazine, but it is more of an inspiration booster for me.
Prevention Healthy Woman magazine is one of my favorite magazines. It only comes out quarterly but is packed with useful information. Unlike other health magazines, it is not packed with advertising for weight loss pills etc. It is more like a book on health and fitness. The magazine is currently divided into 5 parts: (1) weight loss strategies (2) everyday nutrition booster (3) get fit fast (4) more energy now and (5)maximize your health. There are several recipes in the magazine that are doable by the average cook's standards (no crazy fancy ingredients) but lots of useful information on how to pack your favorite meals with healthy nutrients by adding certain things to it or by cooking it in a certain way. The workout section includes exercises and strength training that can be done in your home without any fancy equipment and that will yield the results most people want with regards to toning and firming their bodies. I would highly recommend this magazine. Also, check out the website for useful information to supplement what is in the magazine!
