Didn't work for me

I spent a lot of money on these products after reading loads of positive reviews online and constant advertisement of celebrities using this product..but it made my skin feel worse.
I feel like it was harsh on my skin which made me break out in more spots and my skin felt tight every time I used it.
I would not recommend this product unfortunately.

Unfortunately Didn't Work For Me

I bought this based on seeing the TV ads and reading the thousands of great reviews from people who had great results so I had really high hopes. I went through one set and it only made my skin worse. I bought a second set hoping that maybe my skin was just adjusting to it but I didn't get the results I hoped for.

Way too harshh

This had thw opposite of intended result. Way too harsh and covered face in little white irritated bumps. I would not recommend this product. Not to my worst enemy.

Definitely not worth the money or energy.

I was given a Proactiv kit from a friend's mom as I have cystic acne and it was quite bad in high school. I had always wanted to try it as it looked like it really worked. Within a couple of days of using it my face broke out even worse than it already had been, my skin was incredibly dry and as a result, quite itchy. My skin became flaky and peeled. My cysts became significantly worse. Within a couple of weeks I stopped using it and moved on to something else that, at least, helped control my skin better that this product. It's overpriced for what you are getting.

Not good for sensitive skin

I used it and I started breaking out like crazy and it's was expensive to buy my skin started peeling didn't work as planned worst product to buy expesally if you have sensitive skin

Did not work for me.

I tried this set for a while but this did not help with my acne at all. It did not prevent or help to heal the ones I got either. I found that the set was just not worth it.

Proactiv Solution Kit

The Proactiv Solution Kit is quite pricey to keep using. I gave it a fair shot for months and months and unfortunately did not great results. I found it really dried out my skin to the point of being in pain looking for special creams to soothe the dry skin. I didn't find a difference with my skin unfortunately.

For someone with sensitive skin this product doesnt do anything. If anything it made my skin worse. It is too strong and chemical filled. Money grab. Will never waste my money again.

This didn't work at all for me . I have acne prone skin and have had it since I was 15 years old . When I was 20 I purchased this but it didn't help in any way . I was so saddened and disappointed. It irritated my skin and didn't help with the breakouts .

Acne is the bane of my existence.... and with the great reviews of Proactiv of course I jumped on the band wagon and had to try it out for my self. What a disappointment that was. The more I used this product the worse my skin got and they always say it gets worse before it gets better, so I continued using this product for a good two months. With Proactiv I had a hard time trying too figure out why it just wouldn't work for my skin. It would immediately burn and dry out my skin so much, that I was left with chemical burns on my face! After using the face cleanser I immediately had too put some type of lotion on as it dried out my skin so much. The toner was okay it had a cooling sensation too my skin. I did notice that the lotion really didn't help with my skin and my breakouts whatsoever. It actually if anything made my skin so much worse. The thing is with acne cleansers it will completely strip out everything in your skin and if you have sensitive skin like mine it made everything ten times worse for me. The smell was refreshing though. I had zero issues with that. Maybe if they had an option for sensitive skin this probably would have been a way better option for me. I know a lot of celebrities endorse this product and make it sound like the perfect solution too your acne problem but I wasn't a fan of this product. If you are looking for a product to help with breakouts and Ance prone skin, I would highly suggest not using Proactiv. The more I used this product I could feel a tingly sensation which of course I thought that meant it was working, but it was just burning my skin. Very very disappointed in Proactiv for the hype that it was given, I definitely don't believe this product works for all skin types.
